Quick A/n: I will now be doing more first person y/n pov's whatever you want to call it; there will still be some 3rd pov and other characters pov, but not as much as what there has been in the last 2 chapters. And on that bomb shell, lets crack on

Living with the Cullen's so far had been amazing. It felt more like home than what I had previously felt anywhere else. There are days where I missed my pack, the loss still fresh on my heart and mind, but the Cullen family definitely tried to make me feel at home. The thing is, when I thought about it, I only had one person in the pack that respected me for me. Thalia, my sister. She never left my side, was always respectful...she reminded me a lot of Alice, her creativity and empathy. The pack, outside of her, only did what they did because I was the Alpha, not because we were a family. Being the youngest alpha in years didn't help either. Yet for all the good that we did, changing our land, farming, adopting orphaned pups...the last fight showed a lot of true feelings. Of a pack of 45...only 10 stayed behind whilst the rest deserted at the first sign of trouble. The kids were massacred, because we who stayed were too few...and once they cornered us, the game was up. At least they won't trouble anyone else any more.

"Y/n, you ok?" Lifting my head from my knees I looked up at Alice, her brow furrowed with  worry. Nodding a little, I moved my chess piece across the board.

"Yea, just thinking." It had been nearly a month since I had been here, and it had been a bit rough when the full moon came around. Alice, Emmet and I had gone down into the basement, which I might add was really, really well designed for its purpose, and sat against the wall, waiting. As the night progressed, Alice remained outside of the door even when I changed. Long after my cries turned to howls, she stayed. I could hear her heart racing in fear, yet she stayed; which is more than I can say for anyone previously. After I had changed, paced the room for a while before I settled down, restless but calm in the same breath. Since then, I had been closer to her than any other of my new family.

"Your turn Jas," I watched as my brother moved his piece pensively, and I sighed. He had once again gotten me into a position that was a two edge sword with my king, and had me wishing I was as good at this as he was. 'If only that castle would just move a little forward.'

Thinking hard to myself as I moved the knight, attempting to control my intense frustration and self-disappointment, Jasper jumped up quickly, as did Alice who called for Carlisle. The blond vampire hurtled around the corner as I hid my head in my knees, worried that I had done something wrong. "I'm sorry I don't know what I did, I'm sorry!"

"He's a traverser and more."

"What happened?"

"The chess piece moved in a blur on it's own, we must have startled him because they suddenly started replicating in misshapen shapes."

"I wonder what other talents he may hide...Alice, why don't you and y/n go out to town for the day, you too Jasper. I think we've cooped up our young pup for too long, hm?" Perking up, Carlisle had his trademark tender smile. "You did nothing wrong my boy, your vampiric powers just revealed themselves very suddenly. We will help you hone these skills over time, and I have no doubt you will master then soon enough."

"What's that?" I asked, having lived in the wilderness much of the time, there were things that I didn't know existed. Such as the item we were currently looking at, much to the amusement of Alice.

"That is a computer, more specifically a laptop. It's a machine like a cellphone, except it can do more, but also less in some aspects. Come on, I wanna show you something," Taking my hand, I allowed her to lead me to the arcade, something I had mentioned I had always wanted to go to. Turning to Alice, I saw the smile I had reflecting in her eyes and Jasper chuckled and led me into the depths of the arcade. He led me straight to the basketball game, where we took turns shooting, restraining our strength for obvious reasons. From there, Alice led me to the dance machine, and promptly beat me, though I had a good laugh at how ridiculous I looked in the replay. And so it went, being drawn from activity to activity until late in the afternoon.  Returning to the house, I was greeted by Rosalie, who I had also grown closer too, and Emmet; both were sitting at the dinning table.

"Hey champ, how was your day?" Emmet grinned, getting up and wrapping one of his tree trunk arms around me, ruffling my hair in the process. "It's been good, how was your hunt?"

"Successful, but not the same without your magic touch," He replied laughing at our inside joke. Some how when ever I went out for a hunt I could see where prey had been, or what had happened. We'd never thought anything of it, but Edward, who had been lurking in the doorway, thought otherwise.

"Is it only when he's outside? In the forest?" Emmet nodded before continuing laughing uneasily, "Yea, I mean it doesn't happen in town right?"

"I wonder..." Edward ran out, leaving mass confusion in his path. Returning a brief moment later, with several objects in his hand. Laying them out on the table, he dashed around the house...and I mean that quiet literally, and added a few household, man made items. "Y/n, come over here for a second."

Obliging, I stood beside him as he explained his theory about me being a reader. "Touch these items, then tell me what you see."

The first few items, such as the fork, the candle and car keys were negatives, however, I felt myself fall away as I touched a leaf; as I had in the forest; and I could see what the leaf had seen. Yet it only seemed to go back a day, as the sun rose the lead fell from its tree to only be carried by a crow before it was dropped again in a river before being picked up by Edward and brought inside, and then it stopped; and I returned to my consciousness. I looked at my brother and we reached an understanding. I notice that the whole family had gathered in the room as Edward spoke, smirking a little.

"Well that confirms, my brother is a reader too..."
