KT groaned and closed the textbook with a heavy thump. She rubbed her eyes before resting her head on top of the book. "I don't know if I can read through another chapter."
Eli let out a short laugh, watching her. She looked at him, but despite wanting to throw a playful glare at him, she could only smile at his sweet face. He met her eyes. "We're almost done with the packet. Two more chapters won't hurt."
"They will," she groaned and rolled her eyes. She caught sight of the TV and smirked, reaching for the remote. "We can take a break and come back to it later."
They were sitting at a low table on the floor of her family's rec room, history books laid out in front of them with study packets. If the packets weren't for a grade, KT nor Eli would be doing them; she'd already expressed how it was kind of dumb to hand in a stack of papers intended for study use and he'd told her how he wasn't worried about the upcoming test at all. Still, they'd agreed to do it together and just get it over with, especially since he'd told his mom they'd be doing homework. Might as well not add too many lies to the one they'd gotten away with.
KT didn't mind doing school work. She thought it made up for the day's lessons she was missing, so she didn't feel all that negative toward it. Plus, it freed up her afternoon schedule by an hour or two. It was a win-win in her book.
She turned on the TV and started looking for something to watch. While looking through too many options, she saw Eli move closer out of the corner of her eye. She glanced over at him, seeing him sitting closer than he had been before, but not looking at her. He was shyly picking at the carpet, his ears a little pink.
She wet her lips and set the remote down. "Hey, Eli?"
He looked up at her, fingers still pulling on threads. "Yeah?"
"Is there something you wanna do?"
He sat there for a moment, then swallowed hard and nodded.
She lowered her voice, keeping it soft and inviting. "What's that?"
He pointed to his lips and she smiled. She crawled over to him, closing the distance effortlessly, and pressed her lips to his. The moment their lips touched, a billion stars exploded and the heat from the discharge washed over them.
He put his hands on her waist as she gently pushed him onto his back. She laid herself on top of him very gently, never once breaking the kiss. He opened his mouth to her and she happily pushed her tongue in, meeting his tenderly. She shivered as his hands slid onto her back, the tips of his fingers slipping under her shirt. His hands were a little cold against her flaming skin, causing her to gasp softly.
KT pulled back, pushing herself up to hold herself over him. Biting her lip, she stared down at him sweetly with smoldering eyes. "Do you wanna go to my room?"

Eli felt hot all over, like his insides were going to melt. One minute, he was laid under the girl of his dreams, her body pressed against his, and the next she's pulling him along to her bedroom. Her green eyes darker than normal, her soft lips slightly swollen. He watched the way her strawberry blonde hair swung back and forth as they passed closed doors.
He wished he could grab his heart and force it to slow down. Its rapid beat got worse when they approached a white door he remembered her pointing out as hers when she'd given him the rest of the house tour. As she opened the door, he could only think, Holy shit! I'm about to see her fucking bedroom!
The door opened and it was a little less pink than he expected, but still pretty pink. The walls were a light pink but mostly covered by pictures and posters and other decorations. Most of her furniture was white, pink accented, cozy looking. None of that really caught his eye, though. Only two big things did.
