Moon🌙✨
Party at my place tonight! All Cobra Kai are invited! Everyone is welcome! There will be a live DJ taking song requests! We also have beer, vegan friendly snacks, and a pool, so come hang out and have a good time! Arrive as early as 4, real fun starts at 5!

Hawk looked at the Instagram message for the third or fourth time, wondering how valid it was. Part of him couldn't believe it, seeing as Moon was KT's current girlfriend, but this was Moon. If anyone was going to invite their partner's ex to a party, it was going to be her. So, the other part of him did believe it. He was only asking himself now if it would be worth it.

He knew KT was going to be there, there was no doubt about it, so he had to ask himself if he was willing to sit at a party he knew his ex-girlfriend was going to be at with her new girlfriend. Hence, why he was rereading the message instead of actually thinking about it.

The rational thing to do would be not to go, he told himself. After all, what was he going to get out of going to Moon's party? Another broken heart on top of the two he was already cradling? Yeah, I think I'll pass.

"Dude, Moon's throwing a party?" Assface laughed, reading the message from his own phone. The other Cobras had all received the same invitation just before training ended, so to open their phones to the enticing promise of a party was thrilling. "We have to go!"

Of course we do, Hawk thought bitterly. Because what would we be if we didn't go to the biggest party of the summer thrown by the school's most popular girls? Losers, we'd be reduced to a bunch of losers, that's what.

"I'm down," Tory said, smiling at Aisha and Miguel as they grabbed their bags. They smiled back at her, in agreement that they'd enjoy going to a party.

Hawk was beginning to feel outnumbered despite not voicing his disinterest. He didn't want to go. He knew all that awaited him there were sweet smiles and giggles, girlfriends making out as if he weren't there. However, the pressure to go began to weigh on his shoulders and it hurt more than any exercise they'd done in training today. It was like trying to hold up the world, his perfect world that was slowly crumbling and falling to his feet.

First it was KT breaking up with him, then Sensei Kreese - the only person who seemed to understand anything he was going through and how to deal with it - left. Everything was falling apart and there was nothing he could do to fix it; he didn't even know where to begin.

Maybe I can go, just to drown my sorrows in beer.

"I'm in."

"This isn't nearly enough cups," Yasmine said, inspecting the bar and the stack of red solo cups she'd just put there. "What do we do?"

Moon looked up from moving furniture with KT to size up the problem. It was a nonissue, easily fixable, so she smiled gently. "Could you go get more?"

"Yeah, it shouldn't take long," Yas said and started looking for her keys. Once she plucked them from a side table, she turned to KT and pointed at her. "And you, stop it. You're supposed to be resting."

"I'm moving a table," KT said, gesturing to the small end table in front of her. They were rearranging the room for great party potential. There needed to be space for mingling and dancing and drunk teenage antics. "It's not that strenuous."

"I don't care. You've been overworking yourself and the last thing I need is you passing out or getting sick," Yas said, walking over to her and gently pushing her away from the work that needed to be done. Before she could protest, Yas asked, "Do you wanna come to the store with me?"
