Hawk smiled against KT's lips as he buried his hands into her hair, kissing her slowly. It was deep, passionate, heavy yet sweet; it said "I love you" in one of the most intimate ways he could think of. He could feel its truth in his chest, making it swell as it sat beside his newfound confidence and pride that he was still getting used to.
It was the second best feeling in the world, right after her love of course.
They still laid between her sheets, but he acted at her blanket and kept her warm with his body over hers. They were entangled in each other in ways they hadn't dared tried yet, whether that was literally or metaphorically, and were as close as they could be.
Though it wasn't unlike how she typically did it, she was holding him in her arms with her hands against his back and it was glorious and exciting. It ensured he wasn't going to go far when he inevitably had to pull away from her and he loved that. He loved being close to her and he loved that she wanted him close.
The seal of their lips broke and he panted softly, their breath fanning each other's faces. He was happy to find her smiling through it, eyes still closed. He dove down again, this time for her jaw. Going down the line of her face, he soon found her neck and started the process of showing it all of his love.
KT sighed, one of her hands coming to lay on the back of his neck. Her fingers lightly brushed the tailend of his mohawk, where it wasn't as stiff or tall. His hair wasn't perfected yet, but he planned on making the most of it everyday, but for now he'd let her mingle her fingers through the pieces he hadn't managed to gel into total submission.
He would admit, only to himself, that he would miss the way she ran her fingers through his hair. It made him think about wearing his hair down from time to time, but only if he was alone with her. I can't let anybody see me without the mohawk. It would ruin all my hard work! ...But I think for her, I can make an exception.
His body began to settle, tired and in need of rest. Carefully, he laid himself onto her, his face still buried in her neck. When she felt his weight on her, she turned her head and lightly pressed her cheek into the side of his head.
"You okay?" he mumbled into her skin.
She hummed in response. "Mhm."
That made Hawk smile and he continued to pepper her in kisses; short and long kisses, gentle lashings with his tongue, and leaving a few hickies on her collarbones. He didn't know how long he laid there and did that, but when he was too tired to continue, he didn't get up. He barely lifted his head.
He just rested there, enveloped in the warmth they made together, his cheek squished into her shoulder. His hair was a little messy, but he was trying not to ruin it by having it parallel to her bed. He had no way of knowing if that was working out how he thought it would, but at that moment, watching her just exist, he didn't care all that much.
KT opened her eyes and looked at him, smiling at him. It was only late morning, almost noon, but she looked like she needed a nap. He didn't doubt it either, since he made her come three times.
He smiled back at her, almost teasingly. "So, I take it you like the 'hawk?"
"It's very blue and eye-catching," she noted, letting out a little giggle. If her laughter was a song, it would be his favorite.
"Well, it had to be," he said. It came out before he could really think about it. He didn't realize exactly what he had said until he caught the odd look in her eyes. "Well, I mean, that's the point, isn't it?"
She hummed, her hand rested on his shoulder. He felt her finger lightly drawing circles on his skin. "I guess. It doesn't have to be, though."
He didn't know what to say to that. He hadn't planned on telling her the real reason why he'd done all of this. It would just worry her and he didn't want to cause her any more worry. She shouldn't have to worry for him anymore because he could stick up for himself now. He could finally be the one to not only protect himself, but her as well. It finally felt even.
She let out a little yawn, then said, "Well, either way, you're handsome."
Hawk refrained from blushing, putting his face back into her neck. He quickly stopped, planning on breaking that habit. He wasn't going to hide in her clothes anymore. He wasn't going to hide at all, never again.
"You're beautiful."
KT looked at him. "I mean it. With the mohawk, without it, you're handsome. You're always going to be."
"Well, I mean it, too," he told her, repositioning and pushing himself up onto his forearms. His fingers danced across her collarbones before his hands came to cup her cheek gently. "You are the most beautiful girl ever."
She stared up at him, smiling cutely as she blushed. "Just kiss me already."
"With pleasure."
And with that, he leant down to her and reconnected their lips.

I know this is a short chapter, but I wanted to include it. The conversation KT and Hawk had was actually supposed to be longer, but I had a block and then forgot how the conversation went, so this is what I could come up with. I still cannot remember that conversation lol.
This is also unedited, or partially edited. Don't mind that pls.
So, what do you thinks is next for these two? There's a lot coming up...
