I told her I love her.
We had sex.
I'm not a fucking virgin anymore.
Most of the thoughts Eli was having were much the same, coated in astonishment and disbelief. He would have pinched himself to see if it was all a dream had it not felt so good. It had been so good that he knew it couldn't be a dream. He was still basking in the aftermath of having sex for the first time, his brain unable to slow down. Before, he had thought about what it would be like and it had outdone all his expectations.
I just had sex with Katarina Theodora Whittaker.
After calming down, they had gotten cleaned up. Despite being used to it, she didn't like being sweat soaked, and he agreed, so she wanted a shower. She suggested he join her but that was far beyond him. He didn't know if he could handle having just had sex and then showering together, it felt overwhelming. When he declined, she understood and offered her shower to him, but he didn't want to deprive her of that. So he let her go first, it was her shower after all. He stayed on her bed, listening to the running water with his eyes closed in the meantime.
I told her I love her and she said it back.
When she came out, she didn't dress immediately. Her hair was all wet, clinging to her skin and hiding the deep purple marks he'd left on her. He couldn't help but watch her as she moved around her room in nothing more than a fluffy pink towel. Then she was holding out an identical towel to him and telling him the shower was all his. He continued to think of her while he washed away the salty residue from his body.
It felt so good. The way her hands held onto me... and the way she moaned my name... and how she felt wrapped around my dick...
She had changed the sheets on her bed by the time he walked back into her room. She was laying on the new sheets waiting for him, in nothing more than her underwear and his sweater. Its muted colors seemed brighter when she wore it. He quickly found his boxers and pulled them on, giving his hair one last ruffling with the towel so it wasn't very wet before joining her.
Holding her close to him, they stared into each other's eyes for what felt like centuries. He knew he could look into her eyes for much longer than that, though; he would get lost in their deep, lush forests and never want to be found. That was all he needed. She was all he needed.
Whatever little voice of insecurity that usually put him down was nowhere to be found. If it was trying to make him feel bad about anything, he couldn't hear it. There was no way for it to break through the euphoria he felt laying there as he and KT just held each other. He wouldn't go as far as to say he felt absolved of his insecurities, but they couldn't drag him down in that moment, because he knew two things.
First was that he had made KT feel so good she screamed his name.
The second was that he wasn't going to die a virgin anymore.
Now I can really die happy, but I don't wanna do that. I couldn't love her if I was dead.
KT kissed him tenderly, very soft and sweet, her hands playing with his damp hair. She snuggled up to his chest, under the cover of her comforter. She was cold, so he wrapped the blankets around her tighter and held her closer. He was in nothing but his boxers, but he would give her all his warmth even if it froze him solid.
When she laid her head on his chest, that was when he finally laid on his back. It was nice, just getting to cuddle her in a big, warm bed. It was everything he had thought he'd never get out of life. The world felt so unfair, the people around him were cruel, and he'd thought he'd be alone forever. Then came this angel who was making it harder to see it that way.
She giggled, causing him to look at her. She pointed to her bedside table and smiled. "Hand me that remote and turn off the light. I wanna show you something."
He did as asked and gave her the remote, then reached over to cut the lamp off. They were bathed in darkness for a few seconds while she fiddled with the buttons on the remote. He heard a small click and the room slowly became colorful and bright with soft light. The ceiling was covered in little dots of magic that moved fluidly and he felt mesmerized by their color-changing dance.
KT cuddled up to him, staring up as the room turned purple. "I love just laying here and watching this at night."
He turned his head to her and smiled. "Yeah?"
She hummed softly, barely nodding. And he could see that it was true. She loved it. Her eyes were glued to the ceiling, her face illuminated by the little lightshow, a little smile on her face. This was one of those simple pleasures for her, he realized. How many other people know she has this?
They laid there and did as she loved, watching the stars gently spin and twirl. It was tranquil and not many thoughts were running through his head at that point. He could see why she liked it beyond it being so pretty. It was calming, far more than any stress ball or meditation tool he'd ever encountered. Everything about it was much better than anything he'd ever tried when he needed a moment's peace.
He could fall asleep there, under the galaxy of infinities she's brought to him. The best part was that she was there, her eyes catching each hue of light and sparkling vividly. Everything about her was so lively, he realized.
If I wasn't living before, with her I certainly am now.

Jeez, this took forever. The rabbit hole I feel down while writing this chapter was a mess and for how short this is, it shouldn't have taken me this long to post. But this is just me being critical of myself.
I hope you enjoy this chapter. If you did, let me know; comment, like this part, and follow me because I'll be having another Cobra Kai fic coming out soon.
