Chapter 7
Wills POV
I woke up nice and early since the excitement was still running through my veins. I felt bad for how harsh I was on Rose the night before but part of me felt that she needed that.
Part of me knew I shouldn't have tracked her down at the dance academy but another part of me was yelling and screaming not to let her go.
All these emotions confused and exhausted me but I knew one thing for sure. I couldn't give up. No matter how many times I started to think maybe I should leave her alone I just couldn't, especially not now that she was close to giving me a chance.
I meant it when I said I'd leave it to fate to bring us together again, I was ready to let go. But seeing her at the club last night purely by chance made me believe that fate didn't want me to let her go either.
There was something about her. Something I couldn't quite figure out that had me drawn in. Her poetry didn't just scream sadness, somewhere underneath all those painful words I heard a cry for help. And I wasn't going to give up until I knew why.
When I got up I went straight to the gym to make sure I was fresh for the day. I was so early that the other boys weren't up yet to join me so I went by myself.
The gym was pitch black and silent when I arrived. I switched on the lights and they flickered making me squint as I got used to the light.
Usually being alone in the gym was peaceful but I couldn't do it today so I plugged in my iPhone and started lightly playing some music.
I started lifting weights, piling on the kilos as I went. Sweat started to drip down my forehead as the weight increased and the intensity became harder.
I heard the door open from behind me but I didn't turn around, I just kept lifting.
"You're really piling it on now aren't you" Trent smiled at me as he passed by, placing his gym bag on the ground next to mine.
"What can I say. You know how hard it is to keep this" I said cheekily moving my hand around my stomach.
"What a beer gut?" Trent teased as he set up his own weights.
"Careful Trentos" I warned him waging my finger in his direction. "You have secrets and a girlfriend I can release them too" I warned playfully.
"Hey, no fair" Trent exclaimed, "Where's the brotherly love?" He smiled opening his arms wide making me chuckle.
"Besides, my girlfriend loves me. Rose on the other hand can be influenced" he teased playing with his fingers before looking up and raising his eyebrow at me.
"Hey! What was that about brotherly love?" I exclaimed making us both chuckle.
"You know I love you" Trent said lifting his first weight.
"Who wouldn't?" I said in a stuck up voice lifting my next weight.
"Rose" Trent said cheekily making me instantly put down my weight.
"Low blow" I said, "that was a low blow" I looked over at him raising my eyebrow.
Trent just chuckled and smiled at me making me shake my head and smile too.
"So what's your next plan of action over coffee today" he asked.
"Huh, so you weren't too drunk to remember" I teased.
