I woke up feeling light headed. I roamed my eyes around. I'm at my room at grandpa David's house. The last thing I remember was my family and friends calling my name before I passed out.

"Hey, little one. How do you feel?"

Sinubukan kong bumangon at napahawak ako sa aking ulo. Agad akong inalalayan ni dad sa pag upo.

"Just a little dizzy, dad. But I'm fine." sagot ko sa tanong niya. "Where are the others?"

"Your friends went home. The rest are outside. We're just waiting for you to wake up before we leave." he answered.

Napayuko ako. "I don't want you to leave." I said in a low voice.

He reached for my hand and gently squeezed it. "We don't want to leave too, little one. But we have to. You saw what happened today. Our enemies will come for you and your sister once they know about your origin. You're not safe with us."

"When will I see you again?" I asked like a little kid.

He smiled. "The next full moon is in thirteen days. We'll be all there on your first turn."

Right. Our first full moon. I almost forgot that Kaylee and I triggered our curses today because of that bastard Wes. Muling akong nakaramdam ng galit nang maalala ko ang nangyari kay Asher. Parang kailan lang noong iniisip ko kung anong nararamdaman ni Cole dahil sa pagkamatay ng kaibigan niya. Now I lost someone dear to me. And just like what I've imagined, it hurts like hell.

"I wish we could have our old life at Greenhill." wala sa sariling sabi ko.

Hiding was hard, but at least we're together. At first I wanted all the hiding to stop, but after what happened today, I realized that it is what's best for us.

"I wish that too, but your stupid uncle messed up and we couldn't change anything." he slightly chuckled. Natawa din ako sa sinabi niya. "All we can do is move forward. Besides, you and your sister were right. We can't hide the two of you forever. Once everything is fine, I'll announce to the world that you are my daughters and how happy I am to be your father." dugtong niya.

"I couldn't wait for that day to come." ngiti ko.

"Your friends told us everything you did today to save your sister. You made me so proud, little one." he patted my head.

My heart leaped for joy. I felt a surge of happiness because of what he said. I bit the insides of my cheek to prevent myself from smiling like an idiot.

"My friends helped a lot, dad. It wasn't all me." yan lang ang nasabi ko.

"I like them. They're good kids and I'm glad you have them as your friends."

I smiled. "I'm glad too."

"Valerie and Jed's parents were our friends. And now that they're gone, we're going to look after them as our own. You should treat them as your siblings."

I snorted. Napansin iyon ni dad at agad na tumaas ang isang kilay niya. "Please tell me you're not dating Jed." seryosong sabi niya.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "What? No, dad!" depensa ko. "I uhm… Valerie and I are… uhm we have this… thing." nag iwas ako ng tingin at pinaglaruan ang aking mga daliri.

Talking about dad about me liking someone is kinda awkward and embarrassing. And he used to say before that no one deserves us and if someone tries to make a move on us, he will kill them.

"As much as I enjoy seeing you flush because of embarrassment, you're still too young to date someone, little one." medyo natatawang sabi niya.

"Dad, I'm already 16." I said emphasizing my age.
