"Wakey wakey, sleepyhead!" napaupo ako sa gulat nang marinig ko ang malakas na pagsigaw ni Kaylee.
I grunted. "Go away, Kaye." pagtataboy ko sa kanya at muling humiga sa kama.
Naramdaman ko ang paghiga niya tabi ko. "Your evil blondie sister is making a scene outside. I swear she's fuming mad."
Agad akong napabangon dahil sa sinabi niya. Kaylee and I stayed the night here at our house at Esterville. I gulped. I accidentally killed Jassy's hamster yesterday while I was doing some magic inside our room. Paniguradong alam na niyang ako ang may kagagawan nito.
"Tell her I'm not here." kinakabahang sabi ko.
Kaye shrugged. "Too late."

Halos masira ang pinto sa lakas ng pagbukas nito. Pumasok ang galit na galit na si Jassy na masamang nakatingin sa akin.

"You pyromaniac! How dare you burn my poor little hamster alive!" malakas na sigaw niya.
Mariin akong napapikit. "I'm sorry, Jassy. It was an acci—"
"I don't care!" muling sigaw niya. "You need to buy me three new hamsters!"
Napangiwi ako at tumango nalang. As if I have a choice.
Umirap siya sa akin bago lumabas ng aking kwarto. Padabog niyang isinara ang pinto. I let out a heavy sigh. Jassy can be really annoying sometimes.
"I really don't like her." Kaye said grumpily. "Can I strangle her?"
Natawa ako sa sinabi niya. "Please." pabirong sabi ko.
Jassy will just use those hamsters for her experiments. I actually saved the one that died from suffering. We have this little project we have to accomplish before our final year at school. Matagal pa matapos ang junior year kaya naman hindi ko pa ito iniisip. Ewan ko ba sa kapatid ko at masyadong excited. Kahit si Val. She's working on a device or something that can tell what type of supernatural a person is. Both Elijah and Jed will graduate this school year and I heard they're already eyeing a school for college.
Kaye chuckled. "Go take a bath, Liv. We will go downtown today to buy something to wear for the school prom this weekend."
Oh shoot. I almost forgot about that. Marcial, Jassy, Val, Kaylee and I decided to go out today. Just the five of us. We want to spend a day without those overprotective boys.
"Alright, alright." tamad kong sagot.
I was about to stand up when Kaye grabbed me and kissed me on the lips. I quickly pulled away.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet." nahihiyang sabi ko.
"Don't care." wika niya at muli akong hinalikan.
This time, I kissed her back.
"I wish you were my first kiss." wala sa sariling sabi ko sa kanya.
She grinned. "I was your first kiss."
Tinaasan ko siya ng isang kilay. "It was Val."
"Nope, I am." may diing sabi niya. "Two years ago, I was watching you sleep then you suddenly hugged me. Our lips met accidentally for like 5 seconds, I guess." mas lalong lumapad ang ngisi niya.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "You stole a kiss from me while I was asleep?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.
She rolled her eyes. "I told you it was an accident."
"And it lasted for 5 seconds?" I asked in a sarcastic way.
"I was shocked. I couldn't move right away." depensa niya.
