We finally break through the thicket of trees, and it's difficult to focus on anything other than the massive structure looming in front of us, becoming closer by the second. The school is really huge and elegant. It's absolutely nothing like any school I have ever seen.

Ngumiti ang babae sa amin. "Welcome to Whitlock Boarding School! I'm Marcial Adams, and this is my brother, Mikhael. We are going to tour you around the school." magiliw na sabi niya sa amin.
Cole parked his car. Marcial and Mikhael started showing us around. Hindi ko maiwasang mamangha sa ganda ng eskwelahan. Witches are free to use magic, and vampires and werewolves are free to use their abilities. All factions are getting along, unlike in the outside world. When we went to the library, I saw Elijah reading a book. Nagpapasalamat akong hindi niya ako nakita dahil masyado siyang abala sa kanyang binabasa. Hindi ko pa siya kayang harapin.
"Here are your uniforms." Mikhael said while handing over the uniforms he's holding.
The tour ended, and now we're standing in front of a huge door.
"Headmistress Whitlock is waiting for you inside her office. She will give you your schedules." nakangiting sabi naman ni Marcial.
Umalis ang magkapatid at naiwan kaming lima. Tila nagpapakiramdaman kung sino ang unang magsasalita.
"Who will enter first?" pagbabasag ni Val ng katahimikan.
"We will all go together." sabi naman ni Jed at lumapit sa pinto upang kumatok.
Binuksan niya ang pinto at halos manginig ang kalamnan ko nang makita ko sa loob si Jasmin.
"I told you, mom! I don't want a roommate! I've been alone in my room for years and I don't want that to change!" galit na sigaw niya.
Hindi ko maiwasang makaramdam ng galit. I'm now standing in front of two Whitlocks. Alam kong hindi ito maiiwasan dahil sila ang nag mamay-ari ng eskwelahan na ito, pero hinihiling ko na sana ay hindi ko sila makita lagi. But luck is not on my side.
"We don't have enough room for our new students, Jassy. Go back to your class. We'll talk again later." mahinanong sabi ni Emerald Whitlock sa kanyang anak.
Inirapan ako ni Jasmin bago padabog na umalis sa opisina. Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo nila Val at Kaye. One of us will be unlucky to be roomed with satan. And sorry to them, but I really hope it's not me. I can't stand that girl.
"Collins Grey, Kaylee Russell, Valerie Parker, Jed Parker and Olivia Russell." basa ni Emerald sa kanyang laptop.
We've submitted our applications online at sigurado akong ang mga ito ang binabasa niya.
Ngumiti siya sa amin. "Welcome to the school." may kung anong inaabot siya sa amin. "Here are your schedules with your room number."
Agad naming itong tinanggap. They teach normal subjects here and there are also classes that focus on whatever our species are. Cole, Kaylee and I enrolled as werewolves, and I hope we have the same schedule.
"You're my roommate?" inis na tanong ni Kaye kay Val. Humarap siya kay Emerald. "Why am I not rooming with my sister?" she asked angrily.
I closed my eyes firmly. If she's roommates with Val, that means Jasmin is my roommate. Luck is not really on my side. Damn it.
"I assigned your room placement based on your applications. Your sister's application was sent last. I'm sorry but we can't change the arrangement." she sincerely said.
