Chapter Fourteen - Pies

I'm sitting in the Slytherin dorms reading a book Norman got me from the muggle world. Normally I wouldn't read such books but since it was from Norman, I decided to give it a shot. The book is called Keeper of the Lost Cities. Apparently it's a series, and he got me the first book. I would never admit this to anyone but him, but this book is really good. It's the next morning after detention and that sight is still disturbing me.

     "Oi, L/n." I look up and see Ray.

     "What do you want, mudblood?"
     "The others want you to come to our meeting, now come on." He grabs my arm and drags me out.

     "Let go." I demand. He quickly drops my arm and we head to where we need to meet.

     "Out of all places, why had to meet here?" I complain as I sit next to Norman. We're seated in the Gryffindor common room, I'm surprised no other Gryffindors have kicked me out.

     "Because most of us are Gryffindors. Now, you mean You-Know-Who is out there, right now in the forest?" Granger asks us. Ray, Potter, and I nod our heads at this.

     "But he's weak. He's living off the unicorns. Don't you see? We had it wrong! Snape doesn't want the Stone for himself; he wants the Stone for Voldemort. With the Elixir of Life, Voldemort will be strong again. He'll... he'll come back." Harry explains to us.

     "But, if he comes back, you don't think he'll try to... kill you, do you?" Weasley asks.

     "I think if he'd had the chance, he might've tried to kill me last night."

     "And to think I've been worrying about my Potion's Finals and Snape..." Emma shivers.

     "There you go again, thinking that Snape is the bad guy, honestly, are you deaf or what? Snape is a teacher helping to protect the stone! What do you even have against him, you're a kid and he's a grown man, who do you think they will believe?"

     "Y/n does have a point." Norman backs me up.

     "See! Thank you Norman!" He nods at me.

     "Hang on a minute. We're forgetting one thing. Who's the one wizard Voldemort always feared? Dumbledore. As long as Dumbledore's around, Harry, you're safe. As long as Dumbledore's around, you can't be touched." Granger reassures Potter. He nods and smiles at her and she smiles back.

Time skip to the end of the exams

     It's finally the end of the exams and everyone is rushing out of The Hall. I just lag behind, thinking about what mother would think, because I'm sure that Draco will owl his family, telling them about what happened, Uncle Lucius will hear about it and he'll tell my mom and then she'll confront me about it. While thinking, I don't notice a pie that the Weasley twins threw until it hit the back of my head.

     "Ugh, what in Merlin's beard?" I wipe the back of my head and see the pie.

     "Disgusting." I see the two older Weasley twins run up to me.

     "L/n! We are so sorry. We didn't mean to hit you, we were aiming for someone else, but apparently our aim is terrible and not as good as we thought it was."

      "Well that's a lie because the two of you are literally the Beaters in the Gryffindor Quidditch team," I say before I sigh. "But whatever, just try to stick with the classic water bucket on the door prank or something else that doesn't involve pies." I tell them before rushing to my dorm to clean up.

     I head to the bathroom in my dorms and start washing my hair. This is going to take forever to get out. I comb through my hair to get all the pie crumbs out of my hair. Once I finish I walk out and see Ray standing outside the door.

     "Ah! What the hell?!" I yell at him.

     "Why is your hair wet? Nevermind that, come on. The others want to go through the trap door and they want your help as well."

     "Again? Seriously? Honestly, you guys are so in-efficient when it comes to things like this huh?"

     "Yes, just come on!"

What do they want help with now?
