Chapter Twenty-Eight - Dementors

Y/n's Pov

     I've finished packing my stuff in my trunk for Hogwarts and putting Lily in her cage. I pat my cats and dogs before grabbing my trunk and Lily's cage and heading downstairs to where my father was waiting. Once he saw me come down we floo to the train station. When we arrive there I saw the Malfoys talking. Once Draco notices me he runs over to us.

     "N/n! It's been forever since I've seen you!" He cries as he hugs me.

     "It hasn't been that long..."

     "We haven't seen each other since the end of last year."

     "Oh yeah."

     "By the way, have you heard? Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban!" Draco tells me in a hushed voice.

     "Really?"

     "Yeah!" Our parents start talking and Draco and I get ready to board the train. We say goodbye to our parents and start boarding the train, once we get on the train we find Pansy and Blaise. But then I see Antenna Emma and she sees me. When we make eye contact I quickly look away, still awkward from the hug. Draco walks ahead and Emma runs up to me. Putting a facade on again, because Draco and the others were nearby, I ask;

     "Ugh, what do you want now?" With a raised eyebrow.

     "Wanna hang out with me and the others? So we can get to know each other better!"

     "Why would I want to hang out with a mudblood?" I motion to Draco and the others, hoping she'll take the hint. She looks confused then slowly nods.

     "Fine then, prick," She looks at me apologetic and whispers; "Go down the hall and go to the right end compartment." I nod and she walks off and I turn back to my friends. Pansy raises an eyebrow as she questions;

     "What was that about?"

     "Nothing, I only agreed to her friend request so that she could stop and so that when she least expects it, I'll leave her in the dust."

     "Wow, you really are cruel."

     "I was raised to be the best, not to drop to the bottom of the food chain, now let's go before the boys think we ditched them or something." We walk into the compartment where Draco, Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle are talking.

     "What took you guys so long?" Blaise asks as we sit down.

     "We were just talking, that's all." He nods and I think for a second.

     "I'm kinda thirsty." Draco announces. Now's my chance!

     "I'll get you a drink, Draco." I tell him as I stand up. He smiles at me with gratitude and I leave the compartment. Where did she say they'll be? Right, end of the hall, right compartment. I walk there but not without bumping into a first year student. It was one of their siblings, Anna I think her name was.

     "Are you lost?" I ask.

     "I'm not lost, I was looking for you."

     "What for?"

     "Norman said something about you always forgetting your Astronomy homework, so he was worried it would be the same for directions." I roll my eyes at this.

     "Wow, he is such a great best friend. He definitely has a lot of faith in me." I say sarcastically.

     We arrive at the compartment where the others are and the first thing I do is slap Norman in the back of the head then sit next to him.
