Chapter Thirty-Eight - Announcements

Y/n's Pov

     Draco and I wait for the train to arrive at the station. I was currently reading another muggle book that Norman got me and it was pretty interesting. It was called "The Calm Before The Storm" and I was enjoying it a lot, especially with the plot twists. Draco keeps tapping my shin with his foot to try and get my attention. And also to get me to stop reading muggle books.

     "What do you want Draco? 💢"

     "Stop reading those muggle books in public. You're going to tarnish our house's reputation."

     "Fine.." I say, putting it back in my bag. I then spot Ray and the others but Anna was... Anna's really close to Ray. And for some reason, it made my heart hurt. Why does it hurt so much?! Make it stop please.. Draco puts his hand on my shoulder and looks at me in confusion. I shake my head and he shrugs and turns to look at the train that is now arriving. We both enter and are now finding an empty compartment where not even Pansy or Blaise are in. Unfortunately finding none. Draco sighs and we walk down the hallway. I look through the windows trying to spot if there is anyone we know in the compartments. I then spot one with Norman and the others but I just move on to the next one, making Draco look at me weird.

     "Why'd you go past them?" He questions me.

     "No reason, just don't feel like sitting with them this time."

     "Uh-huh, sure..." He looks at me suspiciously and keeps following me. I avoided any questions he had on the topic.

     We wander the hall for a bit before we see the compartment Pansy and Blaise are in. We open the compartment door and head in. I sit next to Pansy and Draco sits next Blaise.

     "What took you guys so long?!" Pansy complains while shaking me.

     "We were trying to find a compartment that didn't have love birds in it." I sweatdrop. Pansy blushes and starts screaming.

     "WE'RE NOT DATING!!!" Pansy screams while covering her face with her hands. Blaise looks away, flustered, and nods in agreement with Pansy.

     "Yeah sure,  whatever you say 'love'." I respond while Draco starts laughing. Pansy shoves me and I laugh and fall onto her. I look over at Blaise and he looks extremely embarrassed. But then I realized something.

     "Oh my gosh, are you secretly dating?!" I exclaim. Draco looks at them expectantly and they sweatdrop. Blaise just nods and Pansy finally admits it.

     "Yes... we are dating..." Pansy whispers with a flustered look. I turn to Draco.

     "Now you don't have to worry about Pansy ruining your love life with Potter! "

     "Wait what-!?" The other three shout out and whip their hands around to look at me. I smile at them, rushing out the compartment to leave Draco to explain the whole thing.

     I run down the hallway and reach the compartment where Norman is. I knock on the door and open the door and walk in. They look at me and Norman beckons for me to sit next to him. I sit down next to him and he smooths my hair out.

     "What's up with you? What happened??" He asks me in concern

     "Oh nothing, just leaving Draco with his realization of being gay." I answer, completely out of breath. He nods and everyone looks at me in confusion. Thoma and Lannion hug me and I chuckle. I hug them back and they start to shout.

      "Y/n! Y/n! We're going to Hogwarts this year! We're so excited!" They shout in unison. I laugh, patting their heads.

     "I'm aware, try not to cause too much trouble though."
