Chapter Fifty-Five - Notes

Looking back on my decision now that  I've left the room, it doesn't seem like a great one, but it's the decision I made so it's too late to change it now. Draco and I walk down to the Potion's classroom, we walk somewhat fast so we don't end up being late to class. I always hate going to classes, not because I don't like classes or I don't like having to walk there, well, maybe it's because I don't like walking there, but also because of the chance of running into my "friends". I don't even know if I can still consider them friends. Whatever, I guess I'll call them former friends instead.

     We enter the Potion's classroom and the fresh scent of Banberry floods my senses. I choke a bit on air trying to block out the sickening smell.

     "Nice of you to finally join us, Ms. L/n and Mr. Malfoy." Snape remarks as we head to our usual seats.

     After potions class I start walking to go meet up with Draco but just then I get pulled into a room and the door locks.

     "Hey! What is the meaning of-"

     "What the hell is going on with you??" I recognized that voice from anywhere... it was Ray...

     "I know you're keeping something from me I'm not stupid." I just stand there dead silent not knowing what to say just looking away... Ray sighs, seemingly exhausted by this.

     "Look Y/n... I'm not just a random person that you can ignore, I'm also your best friend, whatever is going on you can tell me."

     "Y/n... Y/n! Wake up!" I feel someone shaking me. Everything in the room fades away as I seem to open my eyes and see Draco standing in front of me.

     "Draco? What- I thought class ended."

     "It didn't. You fell asleep during class so I had to make sure you didn't get caught." Ray used to do that for me.

     "Well, thank you." Looking around the classroom, I see that other people are packing up their books. I accidentally make eye contact with Ray whilst I'm looking around the classroom. Whipping my head back around to Draco I see him standing impatiently in front of me.

     "You owe me for covering for you. How about this; you buy me chocolate and green apples?"

     "I'll think about it. Don't get your hopes up though."

     At the end of the day I start heading downstairs to the common rooms and look around before going to make sure Ray or anyone else isn't there.

     "Still hiding from them huh?"

     "Draco, do me a favor and please shut up. I'm not in the mood right now."

     "Alright alright, just saying."

     I'm just relaxing on my bed when suddenly I get a note from someone saying they wanted to see me at 8pm in the Astronomy tower. I know it's not my family and it's not Draco... maybe it's Ray or the others? It's probably from Emma. She probably wants to check up on everything and make sure I'm ok and not in danger. I don't know what I would tell her though... "Hey! You guys still can't talk to me, but I'm not in danger so don't worry!" That sounds about right

     "I'm here. What do you want?" I call out into the darkness of the tower. I arrived not to long ago and no one had appeared so I decided to just call out, even if it alerted a teacher.

     "For you to stop with this acting like you hate us attitude." Ok this is a dream dream this is a dream, I think. I tried closing my eyes and convincing myself I wasn't there.

     "Pretending you don't see me won't work this time whether you like it or not we are going to talk." I opened my eyes and he was still there... this wasn't a dream...

This is reality...
