The Great Hall has a sad atmosphere to it. The usual chatter is gone and everyone seems down. Dumbledore stands up and goes to the podium.

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was, as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort. The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end." Dumbledore finishes his speech and I can feel myself tear up. I quickly wipe my eyes as food appears in front of us. This is one of my last meals of the year, I might as well try to enjoy it.

The visiting schools are leaving now. Viktor is saying goodbye to me and handing me some papers.

"Excellent job in the tournament Y/n, I'm very proud of you. I can't wait to verse you one day in Quidditch. Promise that you'll write to me." I smile and nod at him.

"I promise." He hugs me and I hug him back, melting into it. These past few days have been hard dealing with Cedric's death, and this hug is giving me a sense of security and safeness. I wish he was my older brother.

"I'll see you soon." He tells me while letting me go and heading over to Granger. I see Fluer and her sister come over to me. I tense up a bit as they stop in front of me.

"Au revoir Y/n. I know you don't like Beauxbatons girls, but even so you still saved my sister, and I will forever be grateful for that." Fleur thanks me and kisses my cheek.

"I think you two are the only Beauxbatons girls I like." I tell them. They smile at me and Fleur's little sister hugs my waist.

"I'll see you around." Fleur wishes me farewell and they head off.

We're at the train station and I'm saying bye to Norman and the others before boarding the train. Norman is hugging me and Emma is trying to join the hug while Ray is holding her back. Emma keeps screeching and eventually drags Ray over to where Norman and I are hugging and forces him to join the hug with us. I groan as Emma throws herself and Ray onto us and Norman giggles at this.

"I'll miss you Y/n!" Emma cries while I awkwardly pat her back.

"I'll write." I mutter out as I'm crushed. We break up the hug and Norman and Emma wave goodbye as they head onto the train. I turn to Ray and he offers me one of his soft smiles.

I can't wait to see them again
