"I never thought that I would be spending Christmas here." Norman remarks from beside me. Emma kept bugging me about how I should talk to them during this special holiday so it wasn't spent in a gloomy mood. I only agreed to it because she wouldn't stop bugging me about it.

"Same, I thought I would be spending it at home. But I don't regret choosing to stay here." Emma chimes in response to Norman's statement. Ray nods along in agreement and I just shrug. I didn't really have a choice to stay here, my parents are both busy.

"Well, I for one am glad I stayed here." Draco states.

"You're only glad because Potter is here." I sneer.

"Nonsense." Ray and I roll our eyes and Draco shoves us to the side a bit.

"I'm excited to see what Hogwarts will look like during this holiday season. We haven't been able to see it yet so I'm looking forward to this." Ray mentions.

"Oh yeah! Think of all the fun things we can do together! We definitely have to introduce some muggle things to Malfoy and Y/n." Emma exclaims.

"No thanks. I'll pass." Draco snorts before taking a bite from his breakfast.

"Come on Malfoy. It's Christmas holidays, try new things!" Norman tries to encourage him.

"Ugh, I'll do it just this once. But don't expect me to do over-extravagant things, or to do this again!"

"No one is expecting that of you." I comment. Since it's morning we're all eating breakfast at the Slytherin table since there is no one from Slytherin staying at Hogwarts over the holidays, a part from Draco and I.

I don't mind staying at Hogwarts for the holidays, even though I'd rather take a sword to the chest than admit it aloud, I enjoy the company of Draco, Ray, Norman, and Emma. The Christmas feeling is a warm one, but it feels warmer when they're around.

"What sort of muggle activities would you like us to do?" I ask them. It might be interesting to actually try what they do during their time home in the winter holidays.

"There are a lot to choose from, but some of the ones that are easier for us to do are; Gingerbread house making, gingerbread house decorating, have a game night with hot cocoa, read Christmas stories at the fire place with hot cocoa, have hot cocoa with candy canes, make reindeer treats, make cookies, decorate cookies, hang Christmas lights around our dorm rooms, make Christmas cards, build snowmen, and make snow angels!" Emma finishes listing off all the muggle things we can do, and honestly, I am a bit shocked that there are so many things we can do.

"That's... that's a lot of things." I mumble in shock.

"Thank you Ms. Obvious. I didn't realize that there was a lot of things listed." Ray says in a snarky tone.

"I hope you choke on snow." Norman chuckles awkwardly at our petty argument and decides to intervene.

"How about after breakfast we change into warmer clothes and go do snow activities? It's snowing outside today so it seems like a perfect time to do it." He suggests.

"Alright, sounds good."

Once we had finished breakfast we changed into warmer clothes and headed outside. We're on one of the fields and Emma is now showing us how to roll up snow in order to make a snowman.

"See? It's simple!" We nod. "Now, we should make a ginormous snowman! Ray and Y/n, can you guys work on making the bottom ball while Norman, Malfoy, and I make the top two?"

"Yeah, sure. We'll work on it." Ray answers for us. "Come on, Y/n. Let's get to making it." Ray starts forming a small snowball in his hand and I do the same. Once we're both done I hand mine to him and he put them together. We get to adding more snow to the snowball to make it as big as we can.
