Chapter Thirty-Five - The End of Year Three

Y/n's Pov

     It's the end of the year and it's the end of the year feast. Dumbledore has just announced that Gryffindor was the winner, again, and Draco is complaining about it.

     "Draco, maybe if you helped me in getting points instead of making lovey dovey eyes at Potter, then maybe we would have won." I snap, annoyed. He scoffs and shoves me so that I'm leaning on Ray. I quickly shove him back, almost making his uniform dirty with pasta. He just gapes at me in shock and I snicker at him. Ray looks at us boredly and I smirk at him. He just rolls his eyes and goes back to eating. I smile at him softly and lean my head on his shoulder. He looks up and smiles at me before going back to eat. I look at Ray as he eats, that may seem creepy but he is cute. I hope I know him forever. He notices me staring so he looks at me questiongly I just shake my head and he shrugs and goes back to eating.

Time skip

     At the train station I stand next to Draco waiting for the train to arrive. Pansy keeps trying to get me to tell her my 'plan' but I keep ignoring her because I don't even have a plan. When we go aboard Emma drags me away from them when they aren't looking and brings me to the compartment where she and the others are staying. I'm just confused as to why she's pulling me along but I let her.

     "Why are you suddenly taking me away?" I ask her as she pulls me along. She just smiles at me and keeps dragging me.

     We eventually reach the compartment and I sit down next to Ray since it's the only empty spot left. Emma quickly sat next to Norman so the only available seat was next to Ray. He smiles at me and I smile at him. Everyone starts talking to each other and I start drifting off slowly since I didn't get much sleep last night. I close my eyes and my head drops onto Ray's shoulder. I fall asleep before I can hear what he says.

Ray's Pov

     I look next to me as I feel Y/n's head drop onto my shoulder. I feel my face start to heat up a bit and I can feel my heart speeding up. I smile at her and put my arm around her shoulder and pull her closer so that her head is now resting on my chest. I ignore the other's teasing and focus on Y/n. She looks adorable when she sleeps. Her chest slowly rises and falls and her mouth is a little bit open. I don't think that Y/n would ever admit this aloud but she snores, not like a big annoying snore but more of soft little snores. It's one of the things that make her so adorable. She looks so peaceful when she's sleeping, it's like all her stress and worries have been lifted from her shoulders and she doesn't have to carry any sort of burden anymore. I feel someone glaring at me, it's probably Don so I ignore it.

Time skip

     We finally arrive home but before I could go inside my room, Don pushes me roughly.

     "Wha-! Don! What the bloody hell was that for?!" I hiss while turning around to face him. He gives me a dirty look before speaking.

     "What is your deal with Yn?!" He asks me with venom in his voice.

     "Nothing! I don't know what you're talking about! And if this is about your little crush on her then you can have her. I have no romantic feelings for her whatsoever. She's just a friend. Ok? So, you can date her, alright? She's all yours buddy." I feel kind of weird saying that she's just a friend. But, that is what we are, not even close friends. I don't even know if she sees me as a close friend.

     "Is that so? Then why did you keep acting all lovey-dovey with her?! Even when you knew I was watching!"

     "Because that's her way of expressing her friendship once you get to know her. She does the same to Malfoy, Parkinson, Zabini, Norman, and occasionally, Emma. And I would know she does it to the other Slytherins as well because I have to stay in the same dorm as them." Mom, Norman, and Emma come up to see what all the yelling was about and they see Don glaring down at me.

     "Don, Ray, What is going on here?" Mom asks us, getting in between me and Don.

     "Ray keeps being lovey-dovey with my crush even though he knows that I like her!" Don exclaims in frustration. I scoff in disbelief.

     "Don! I just told you that that's how she is when you get to know her! So stop trying to paint me as the bad guy here!!" I yell back at him. He just rolls his eyes at me

     "Ever since she 'rejected' me through the letter, you've only been getting closer to her!" Mom pushes the both of us away from each other.

     "That's enough you two! Don, stop being so salty that Ray is her friend! Go to your room! Both of you!" Don grumbles something under his breath while I click my tongue in annoyance. Don sends me one last glare before stomping off. I turn around sharply on my heel and stride off. When I reach my room I hear a door slam and I close my door. I jump when I see Lily on my desk with a letter tied around her leg.

These holidays are going to be fun
