Chapter 14: Emily

I know that it's wrong but, I actually felt better after Daniel hurt that man. I knew he'd be dead had I told Daniel the rest of it so, I had saved a life. Daniel opened the car door for me again, helped me in and shut the door.
"Do you still want to go to the park?" He asked me.
"Yes." I told him.
He turned on the car and drove about five minutes. When we arrived at the park, he parked the car, got out, and opened the door for me.
"Thanks." I told him.
He smiled and grabbed my hand. I stopped for a second and he looked at me. I took off my heels and put them in the car. He smiled and we began to walk through the grass.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Yes. I just want to make sure that your not afraid of what I did. I mean, I almost killed someone." He replied.
"No, I'm not. Although maybe next time, we just leave. That way you don't almost kill people?"
He smiled. "Sure. So, I got you something." He said.
He handed me a black box. I opened it, and inside was a bracelet. It was sliver and it had a red charm on it.
"Daniel, this is beautiful, thank you."
He smiled and held out his hand.
"Let me help you put it on." He said.
He took my wrist and gently put on the bracelet. It was hard to believe they this was the same man who had just snapped someone's neck. It was strange.
"This bracket is full of a vampire repellent. So, if a vampire were to hurt you or attempt to drink your blood, it would hurt them. It's also appealing to the eye so I hops you'll wear it?" he said nervously.
I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him.
"Of course. It's beautiful. Thank you."
He kissed me back, and then his tongue lightly licked my bottom lip. I pulled away and blushed. I laid my head on his chest.
"Are you ready to go?" Daniel asked me.
"Sure," I said.
We walked back to the car and drove home.
Once we arrived back, Daniel picked me up and kissed me again. He didn't try to use his tongue again, which was disappointing because I was ready now. When he finally let me down, we walked into the house. Javis and Beth were sitting up waiting for us.
"Emily, you look so beautiful!" Beth cried.
"Thanks." I muttered.
Amanda ran down and hugged me.
"Details, I'm ready. Let's go!" She began to pull me upstairs and I looked at Daniel.
"Go, I'll see you later." hd said.
Amanda pulled me up to Daniel's and I's room.
"Tell me all about it! Where did you go?"
"We went to Ella's. I got a steak and let me tell you, it was like I had died and gone to heaven. And Amanda the hostess was so pretty and he didn't even say anything to her. It was amazing! And look, he got me this bracelet, isn't it pretty!"
Amanda took my arm and nodded.
"So, you had a good time?"
"Yes, it was wonderful. Amanda, can I ask you a personal question?"
She sat down on the bed with me.
"Of course." She said.
"Well, Daniel tried to, you know, put his tongue in my mouth but I pulled away. Now I think maybe I want to try it. What should I do?"
She smiled. "You should take control and do it yourself. It's not like he won't like it."
I nodded. "Can you help me out of this dress?"
She got up, unzipped my dress and then handed me something soft.
"This is sleeping lingerie. You don't have to wear it tonight but, I did buy it for you. Every girl needs at least one piece of lingerie."
I looked at the blue garment. I wasn't ready for something like this yet, but I knew it would be nice to have.
"Thanks." I told her.
I went into the bathroom and put the item in the bottom of the closet. Then, I changed into my sleep clothes. When I came out Amanda was gone. I was tired and so I climbed into the bed. I waited for Daniel to come.
20 minutes later, Daniel came in. He changed his clothes. When he took his shirt off, he had a six pack and his arms were all muscle. When he took off his pants, I closed my eyes. He thought I was asleep and so I
didn't want him to be embarrassed.
He climbed into bed next to me but was super tense. I rolled over and looked at him. He was staring up at the ceiling.
"Daniel, what's wrong?" I asked.
