I had to find Emily. She was missing still and we haven't been able to find her yet. What had happened to her? If she was blood crazed like I thought she would be, then she wouldn't want me to help her. Instead she would want to kill me. I don't know what I'm going to do. On the one hand, I knew how it was to be a new born vampire but on the other hand, she was my mate. I had no idea what I would do if she went to hurt me. I knew that I wouldn't be able to stop her myself and hurting her was out of the question for me. Would I allow Amanda or James to help me? I was pissed at Amanda but maybe Emily wouldn't try to take on three vampires at once. Amanda was very fast, James was very strong and I was able to communicate really well with people. So maybe it wouldn't be that hard. We arrived at a small town which seemed to be the type of place a new born vampire would go. I hated the fact that I was indeed correct. We saw police cars lined all over the street and body bags were all over as well. I looked at Amanda and she blushed. I walked past the cry of families as they were told they there daughters died unexpectedly. They had to tell them that their bodies were found drained of blood. Poor Emily! I took off toward the woods. I smelled deeply. She had been around here before. I climbed a tree and saw her, 10 feet away. I ran and then slowed to a walk.
"Emily?" I called out.
She jumped down fangs extracted.
"Emily, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you. You do want more blood don't you?"
Amanda and James moved behind her. Emily looked at me. I knew she was trying to fight herself. I nodded at James and he knocked out Emily. I turned but I could still hear her crumple to the ground. I picked her up and held her in my arms.
"I'm going to help you sweetheart." I whispered.
Since we were in Montana, I knew we would be home before she woke up. I was glad that I could hold her as we ran back to Oregon. I knew that Emily was going to feel bad about all the death that she caused and I had no idea on how I should help her go through it.
When we arrived home, I took Emily up to our room and placed her on the bed. Then, for her own safety, I chained her to the bed. I knew she would hate that but I had to keep her safe as well as myself and others. I was so frustrated with Amanda it wasn't even funny. Amanda and Emily would never be able to hang out together again that was for sure. Well maybe that was too harsh. Maybe it would be that they couldn't be alone. It hurt that I had to protects mate from my sister. I shouldn't have to do that but, she was the reason that Emily was now blood crazy.
When she woke she looked at me. Her eyes were no longer sliver but they weren't her normal brown.
"Emily?" I asked.
"You! Let me go!" She screamed.
"Emily, listen your very sick, please calm down."
I grabbed her hand. It was a mistake, as she dug her nails into my hand. I pulled away as blood pored out of my wrist. My heart hurt so much but I knew that she didn't mean it.
"Emily, sweetheart, I love you so much. Please, please remember who you are." I pleaded.
Emily looked at me. I touched her forehead, then pushed a needle into her skin. I left the room as she passed back out.
