Finding and Changing Emily

Chapter 32: Amanda

A/N THE HOUSE
I went into Daniels room and found that Emily had locked the door. I knew that she wasn't going to open the door if I asked her too, so I used the key and then opened the door.
"Emily, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I-I can't do it. I can't sleep with him. I want to but I can't." She cried.
I pulled her into my arms and hugged her.
"Emily, you don't have to if your not ready. Daniel loves you, he doesn't expect you to sleep with him if you don't want to."
Emily looked at me with gathered. "It doesn't matter that he doesn't expect it. I'm his mate, I should try to please him. And I thought I could do it but, when it came down to doing the act, all the memories came back. I know that he wouldn't rape me or force me to do anything that I wouldn't want to do but, those memories are still there."
I immediately understood her. She wanted to move on but she couldn't. She wanted to make Daniel happy and she wanted to be able to make herself happy.
"Honey, why don't you just talk to him then? I'm sure he would help you and he would understand. Maybe even take away some of the worry?"
"Amanda, he acted weird. He, his face, I don't even know how to say it. His face was covered in blood and his eyes were blood shot."
Emily looked terrified. Daniel should have told her. Every time something happens he sends me in to fix his messes. It wasn't my job to fix his problems. Why couldn't he just tell her what happened? It was over 50 years ago and yet he couldn't let it go.
"Emily, you need to talk to him about that."
She shook her head."No I can't do that!" She yelled.
Beth heard the noise and came in. She looked at me and nodded her head for me to leave. I shook my head no, because Emily was a newborn and we still haven't seen what she does when she is upset. Beth came and sat down on the floor.
"Emily, look at me please." She said.
Emily looked at her and wiped her tears away.
"Daniel needs to come in here to talk to you. Now, Amanda and I can be in here when he talks or we can leave."
"I'll do it by myself." She said.
She stood up and looked in the mirror. She got a washcloth and after putting water on it, she set it on her eyes. She began taking deep breaths trying to calm herself down. She blew her nose and then looked at Beth and I.
"Thank you both so much. Someday you won't always have to interfere with all of our fights."
Then she walked out of the room. I looked at Beth.
"You know what's going on don't you?" she asked me.
"Yes, but I figured it out on my own and I can't tell you."
"Amanda is he in trouble?"
I took a deep breath before responding.
"I don't know. Emily will decide that," I said. "But either way, change is coming. For the good or the bad I don't know but it is coming and no one can stop it."
