I was pissed at Amanda for barging in but I was also glad that Emily and I hadn't had sex yet. It wasn't that I didn't want to, it was just that I didn't want to push Emily. I went and got into the shower to help with my problem that had occurred during our passionate time. When I got out ten minutes later, I decided that we should go swimming. We had a huge pool in the backyard that Emily had never seen. I put on some swim trunks and waited for Emily to come back. I knew what Amanda was doing with Emily and I was glad. Emily needed to know some of these things. She didn't need to worry about me hurting her.
Emily came into the room and looked at the floor.
"Emily, you don't need to be embarrassed." I told her.
She nodded and sat next to me.
"I'm not embarrassed by what we um, did it was more that Amanda walked in."
"I know. It's okay though. I mean, she didn't really see anything. Wait till you hear her and James going at it."
She smiled and traced random shapes on my hand.
"Do you want to go swimming?" I asked her.
"I don't have a swim suit." She muttered.
I smiled. "we could go skinny dipping."
Emily looked horrified. I laughed and hugged her close.
"I'm just kidding. Here, I'll give you this."
I handed her a long shirt and a pair of shorts.
She smiled and said. "These shorts are white. White is see through."
"I don't have any black ones that would fit you. You could go without them." I suggested.
"Nope, these will work, I'll be back."
She grabbed the clothes and went into the bathroom. She was so fun to tease. She came back and stood at the door. I got up and joined her. She was so beautiful. She looked good in anything.
"What?" She asked when she caught me staring.
"Your just so beautiful." I told her.
"Your extremely biased." She said.
I laughed and grabbed her hand, pulling her out the back door and into the night.
"Maybe but it's true." I told her.
I opened the gate that was enclosed around the pool. Emily walked in and was amazed.
"Daniel this is so beautiful." She said.
I smiled and picked her up bridal style.
"Daniel! Don't you dare jump into that pool!" She yelled as ran towards the pool.
"Sorry love!" I yelled as I jumped.
Our pool was 24 feet deep because of the fact that when we did stupid things like this, a normal pool would have cracked. I pushed up when I touched the bottom and then we resurfaced.
"Daniel don't let me go. I can't swim." She told me as her arms tightened around my neck.
"You can't swim?" I asked.
"Daniel I swear to god if you let go of me.." I stopped her with a kiss. She closed her eyes and allowed me to float with her. It was dark and with the lights from the fire place it was pretty romantic. She pulled away and laid her head on my chest.
"Emily do you think I would let you get hurt?"
"No, but I do know that you jumped into a pool so I know your crazy."
I moved towards the side of the pool.
"Hold on to the wall." I instructed.
She did as she was told but she was scared.
"Emily don't worry about anything. Trust me."
She nodded. I moved halfway out to the pool and then stopped.
"Swim out to me." I told her.
"Your crazy. I can't." She said.
"Trust me, you can."
"What happens if I go under the water?"
"Your a vampire. You don't need to breath. You can hold your breath forever."
She slowly let go of the wall and began to move towards me. She smiled as she realized that she was swimming. She came to me and then wrapped her arms around me.
"See, I told you that you could swim."
She smiled and then wrapped her legs around my waist. I was content with her like this. Yes my body wanted more but I knew that if this was good for Emily than it was good for me.
"I love you." She whispered.
"I love you too." I told her.
I kissed and allowed her to take the lead. She moved her lips slowly against mine. It wasn't hot like early but it was very passionate. Too soon, she pulled away and then just seemed to study my face. Her hands were in my hair, stroking it softly.
"Do you want to go upstairs?" I asked her.
She nodded and I swam with her to
The edge. I picked her up and set her on the side. I then climbed out and helped Emily stand up. I wrapped her in a towel and then picked her up.
"My legs aren't broken." She said.
I laughed and ran her up to our room.
"I can't believe that it is 2:40 in the morning and I not asleep. It's weird."
"Yeah I guess so." I replied. I hadn't felt the affects of day and night forever. After a while, you begin to forget about it.
"I'm going to go shower." She said.
I nodded and sat on the bed. She looked at me quizzically but I said nothing more. Then she left.
