I awoke to a start. Where was I? What had happened to Joy? Where was Daniel? I quickly sat up and felt arms around me. Quickly, I moved my elbow and slammed it into the body behind me.
"Ow! Emily what the hell?" A voice yelled out.
"Daniel?" I asked tentatively.
"Duh!" He said. "How many other men hold you like this?"
I smiled and pulled myself into him. He traced my arm and kissed me.
"Emily, look I know these past couple months have been a little crazy but I wanted to know, if you'd be my wife?" He held out a 16 carrot diamond ring. I nodded and allowed him to put it on me. It shined and shimmered. In all my life I never thought that this was how my life was going to turn out. As we landed, I knew my life was going to be hard but it wasn't going to be anything that I wouldn't be able to handle.
