Finding and Changing Emily

Chapter 20: Emily

I felt my chains being removed and I opened my eyes.
"Daniel!" I was so happy to see him. I wrapped my arms around him and breathed in his sent. I felt safe.
"We've got to go." He said.
We began to go up the stairs when I remembered the girl named Joy.
"Wait, we have to get Joy."
He sighed and called the young girl. I felt so bad for her.
"Thank you miss." She said to me.
We went up the stairs and the living room was covered in blood and two vampires were torn apart. Daniel had to kill them. I knew he would have been upset with himself later but it was worth it.
We we got into the woods Daniel fell.
"Daniel!" I called.
I looked at Joy.
"He's low on blood. You need to get him some."
"Joy he doesn't drink human blood."
"If you don't give him blood he will die."
I took my wrist and put it up to his lips. He bite into my wrist and it hurt, but then it felt amazing. I almost moaned in pleasure but remembered that Joy was there. He opened his eyes then pulled my wrist out of his mouth.
"What the hell are you thinking?" He demanded.
He was pissed but alive. That's all I cared about. He put me on his back, grabbed Joy's hand and ran.
When we got to his house he put me inside and left. I went to the couch and sat down. I knew Amanda was in the room before she spoke.
"What happened?" She asked.
Joy looked scared but stayed by me.
"I got kidnapped, he came to save me, then he passed out, I gave him my blood and he left pissed."
Amanda handed me a tissue and I hadn't even realized I was crying until then.
"Miss, if I may, I think he was scared he was going to hurt you."
Amanda looked at me. "Did she just call you miss?"
"Yes, she gave me water and food while I was being raped downstairs. I couldn't leave her. So I brought her with."
Amanda nodded and hugged me.
"Thank you for saving him. Even if he's mad, deep down you know he's happy."
Daniel came in and knocked on the door.
"Emily, can I talk to you?"
I nodded and stood up. We went upstairs and sat on the bed.
"How's your wrist?" He asked.
"Fine." I told him.
"Emily, look I'm sorry. It's just that I could have killed you."
"But you didn't." I countered.
"Emily that's not the point. There is something else we need to talk about. I need to change you into a vampire now."
My heart stopped.
"Why?"
"I drank your blood. If you don't drink mine you'll die."
I didn't want to be a vampire. I didn't want this.
"I can change you, or Javis can." He said.
"Have you ever made a vampire?" I asked him.
"No, but I know that when a mate changes their own mate, it makes them stronger and connects them to one another."
I went to the window. I was scared yet I wasn't ready to die.
"Will it hurt?" I asked.
Daniel nodded. "A little. You go to sleep after though. You wake up and your new."
I looked at him.
"I want you to do it. But can I shower first?"
He nodded and kissed my forehead.
"I'm so sorry. Very, very, sorry Emily."
I moved and went to shower. I trusted Daniel but I wasn't ready yet to die. It wouldn't be fun and how was life going to be like as a vampire?
When I got out of the shower, I put on my night clothes and went out into the room. Daniel laid next to me on the bed. He held me and told me how sorry he was. At 10pm I looked at him.
"I'm ready." I told him.
He nodded. He touched my face and kissed my lips. He then kissed my vain on the side of my neck. My heart was pounding. I felt his fangs break my skin as my blood went into him. He stopped drinking me and then opened his arm.
"Drink, it will make you feel better."
I drank his blood, which was very sweet by nature and then, my world faded.
