Amanda pulled out her yellow jeep.
"Are you ready?" She called.
I nodded and climbed in.
"We are going to have so much fun! I have a ton of places for us to go." She said.
She turned on music and blasted it as we drove. I had never heard any of these songs but, it was okay because Amanda didn't either.
When we arrived at the mall, she parked and handed me Daniel's credit card. I pocketed it but she stopped me.
"Give me the money." She said.
I pretended like I had no idea what she was talking about.
"What?" I said.
"Emily, I'll grab the $500 from your pocket. So hand it to me or I'll get it."
I handed her the money and she put it into her pocket.
"Your with a vampire sweetie, I could smell it on you. Now let's go shopping!"
Amanda pulled me into American Eagle first. She handed me clothes and had me try them on. If she liked them, she made me buy them. I got 30 shirts 5 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of jeans and a skirt. I handed Amanda the card and she paid because I didn't want to see how much this was going to cost. When she came out, she took me to Payless to get shoes.
"Why do I need 6 pairs of shoes?" I asked her.
"Becaue, you never know what you are going to be doing and a girl can never have too many shoes."
I frowned. She had made me get 2 pairs of heels, sandals, wedges, flip flops and finally a pair of sneakers. Once again I gave her the money and she paid.
Next we went to Hollister. She bought me perfume, and some dresses.
We went to ultra next, when she bought me tons of make up.
"Amanda, do I really need 3 shades of lip stick?"
"Yes! Come on, this is so fun!"
We spent $300 dollars alone on make up.
"We have two places left. Let's go to Victoria Secrets."
I didn't want to go, but Amanda pulled me in there. She found me a bunch of push up bras and matching underwear. Then she found the lingerie.
"Amanda, I don't want any lingerie. Please don't make me buy it."
"Just look then. I won't make you buy anything and I won't pick anything out. Just please look."
She walked away to find me more crap that I didn't need.
I looked threw the stuff but everything I saw was too skimpy, or would show too much skin, or, would attempt to show things that I didn't have. There was this one piece that was shear and it was a red color. It covered everything that needed to be covered. I smiled at the thought of making Daniel happy. Amanda came over and looked at me.
"That's super cute. Are you going to buy it?"
I shrugged. "Do you think it would look good on me? I mean, you don't think it would show to much?"
"Emily, I think that you are very beautiful and that would make Daniel happy. He didn't ask me to take you shopping for him. He asked me to take you shopping for you. He wants you to feel good about yourself."
I decided that I would buy it. When we finished there, Amanda helped me load all my bags in the back seat.
"Okay, time for lunch. Where do you want to go?" She asked.
I truly didn't care. She took me to an In and Out. After lunch, she took me to The Nook, which was a book store. I spent $55 on used romance books. When we got back to the car, it was 5:30! Where had my day gone? Amanda drove us home and Daniel ran out to greet us.
"Hey Emily, how was it?"
"Fun thanks." I handed him his card.
"Let's get this inside then." Amanda said.
She, Daniel and I carried in all the stuff and put it in the bedroom on the bed.
Amanda gave me a hug and told me that she would see me later.
"Can I see what you got?" Daniel asked me.
"I guess if you really want to see it."
Daniel pulled me into him.
"Of course I do."
I showed him all the shoes, shirts, pants, jeans, dresses and skirts as I put them up. The make up, I just showed him the colors.
"That's it." I told him.
He smiled. "So you had fun?"
"Yes but Amanda went a little crazy with the buying."
He smiled. "She always does."
I sat next to him on the bed and he pulled me to him.
"Do you want to go to dinner?" He asked me.
"How about I cook for you?" I asked.
He smiled and nodded.
"Do you want me to help?" He asked.
"Sure."
I knew cooking was the way into a man's heart. I dragged him with me down stairs and into the kitchen. They had it fully stocked with all types of food one would need.
"Ready?" I asked.
