Chapter 28: Emily

I felt as if a giant weight has been lifted off my chest. Daniel knew now why I acted the way I did and he made sure that I knew how important I was to him. I removed my bloody clothes and threw them into the trash. I turned the water onto hot and stepped in. I sighed in relief as the water warmed me. I may not be human anymore but it felt nice to feel the water cascading down my body. I shampooed my hair twice and then washed my body. When I was done, I stood under the hot water for a few more minutes. Turning off the shower, I grabbed a towel and wrapped my body in it. Then, I opened my drawer and found my new Victoria secret's pajamas. It was a lacy red nightgown that had a v-neck and it also was strapless. It was the same material that my lingerie was. It was a shame that I wasn't going to get to sleep in them but at least I would be comfortable. I brushed my hair and then opened the door. Daniel was laying on the bed with his shirt off. His abs seemed to move on their own. I licked my lips at the though of touching them. His arms were perfectly sculpted as well. I stopped staring at his body when he cleared his throat. I looked at his face and he was smiling.
"Is that new?" He asked.
"Yes, I got it with Amanda."
He smiled and patted the spot next to him.
"It looks lovely on you. Almost better than that blue."
I smiled and moved across the room at my vampire speed. I climbed onto the bed and he pulled me close to him.
"Tell me, where did you find this lovely outfit?" He whispered making me shiver.
His hands were running down my spine, making it hard to answer him.
"Victoria secret." I told him.
"Mmmm, I'm going to have to talk to them." He whispered.
"About?" I stuttered.
He moved his lips to my collar bone and to the side of my neck. His hands were on my sides moving up and down slowly.
"How incredibly sexy this makes you look. No one should look this appealing. It's not natural."
He lightly licked my collar bone and that undid it for me. I turned unnaturally fast and began to kiss him. His lips felt better than when I was human. They were soft and molded to mine. He pulled me on top of him and then ran his hands into my hair. I trailed my hands along his sides, touching everything I could reach. He moved from his laying position and pulled both of us so that we were sitting. I moved my legs so that I was straddling him. His tongue moved into my mouth and lightly licked mine. I moaned but for once I wasn't embarrassed or worried. I pushed him back down and started kissing his chest. I traced his abs with my tongue, enjoying the sound that he made when I did. I kissed and touch everywhere his shirt hid. He pulled me back up to his lips and kissed me.
Suddenly Amanda came in the door. I jumped away from Daniel and looked away. Daniel pulled the bed covers up around us. I don't know why as I was covered by clothes but it helped with the embarrassment. Amanda looked just as embarrassed as me, if not more.
"Um, I'll come back later." she muttered.
"No, it's okay," I said. "We were just talking."
Yeah ok, everyone in the room knew that it was a lie but I didn't care. I needed something to break the tension.
Amanda smiled and Daniel chuckled. I didn't look at Daniel as I left because I was embarrassed.
"Emily, I'm really sorry I interrupted. I guess I forgot about the vampire sex drive."
I stopped and looked at her. "Vampire sex drive? You mean that I wasn't feeling anything?"
"No, Emily a sex drive is a need for sexual activity."
I nodded my head and smiled.
"So what do you need me for?" I asked.
"Well I was going to talk to you about becoming physical with a vampire. I mean, Beth had it with me and I thought maybe you would want to know? It's okay if you?"
Amanda wanted to have the sex talk with me. I had never had that talk, instead doing what was told of me.
"Sure."
We sat on her bed and she took a deep breath.
"Well how much do you know already?" She asked.
"Um, nothing really." I told her.
"Okay. Well for starters, vampires have a very high sex drive. One day you'll be fine and then, BAM! you want to make love. Male vampires don't need any rest time in between times. They are always ready, if you know what I mean."
I nodded, waiting for her to continue.
"Vampires sometimes bite each other on the neck when they are getting it on. The drinking of blood from your mate is okay as long as you know when to stop. The bitten person won't want to
Stop you as it feels so good."
So Daniel could drink my blood and I could drink his? I wouldn't be able to
do that till I got my drinking under control.
"And finally, you haven't ever had a good experience with guys before but I was raped once before in my human life. It was the only time I had ever done it. When James and I did it, it's completely different. Anything that happened to you before is gone and then you just feel amazing. Daniel won't hurt you like that."
I nodded and gave her a hug.
"Thank you. Now, if you'll excuse me." I said and left to go back to Daniel.
