Chapter 29

Jadelia's POV

So medyo marami kami na nandito sa camp site. Nandito 'yung mga close friends ni Aila na kilala ko rin dahil mga friends namin sila sa industry. Mga nakatrabaho ko na before. There are 10 of us. Kaming apat nila Alonzo, Aila, si Michael, her boyfriend and 6 other people. Two of them are Aila's non-showbiz friends and 'yung apat ay mga katrabaho namin.

Dinner just got served kaya heto at kumakain palang kami kahit na alas-nueve na. Then mamaya, puyatan kami dahil salubong sa birthday ni Aila. Mabuti nalang at mataas pa ang energy ko. Hahahaha!

"May drinks ka na?" Tanong ni Alonzo nang tumabi siya sa akin dito sa paligid ng bonfire. Dinala pala ni Alonzo 'yung taping chair niya at dito niya ako pinaupo dahil ang kati ng grass. Gusto ko sanang umupo sa damuhan kanina kaso parang nag-allergic reaction sa skin ko nu'ng sinubukan ko.

"Hehe wala pa." Sagot ko.

"Sige, kuha kita. What do you want?"

"Kahit ano nalang. Akin na muna 'yung pagkain mo." Kinuha ko 'yung paper plate niya para hindi niya dala-dala doon.

Hinintay ko muna siyang makabalik bago ako kumain dahil dalawang paper plate itong hawak ko. Isa sa lap ko at isa sa kamay ko.

"Tita! I mish you!" Lumapit si Chloe sa akin. I worked with her before and she is one of the best actresses in this generation. Napakaganda rin ng boses. Ayaw nga lang sumayaw. Hahaha!

"I mish you too! Award-winning ka na ah!"

"Lah, Tita! Hindi naman po. Hahaha! Ikaw po, super blooming. Kanina ko pa napapansin."

"Talaga ba?" I laughed then winked at her.

"Ay! Inlove?"

"Who said?" I asked.

"Your eyes, tita."

"Sus! Bumalik ka na nga du'n! Hahaha, inuuto mo na ako eh!"

"Hehehe. See you around po! Mwah!" She said before walking towards her friends.

She's still humble as ever. Isa 'yan sa mga pinaka naging ka-close ko during taping ng palabas namin dati. Sobra kasing sweet at tsaka lagi ko rin 'yang kabiruan.

"Here. Iced tea nalang kinuha ko for you." Alonzo handed me a cup of iced tea then he sat on a monobloc chair beside me.

Third Person's POV

From a far, Aila can see how much Alonzo cares for Ellie. He can see how the two cares for each other. The idea that her 'teleserye parents' are falling in love with each other makes her smile. Even the sight that she's looking at makes her heart jump for joy.

It made her smile more when the two lovebirds are laughing and looking like they're in their own world while having dinner. She can hear their indistinct chattering from where she was standing.

'Destined to meet, meant to be together', that's how she sees Ellie and Alonzo.

Aila decided to secretly capture a photo of the two and she thought of sending it to them later so that they'll have a remembrance of this night. A photo where they're just being themselves, having fun and forgetting their problems for awhile.

Nakapaligid kami sa bonfire habang nagj-jamming sila. Puro stars at maliwanag ang buwan ngayong gabi. Perfect timing. Ang ganda ng kalangitan. Alas-onse na ng gabi at nagpapalipas lang kami ng oras sa pagk-kwentuhan at kantahan.
