I smiled to myself as I rolled over and saw that Gerard was already awake.

"Good morning, beautiful," Gerard said, as he planted a soft kiss on my lips. His sleepy voice was like music to my ears.

We laid there in silence for a minutes. We were both too lazy to get up. "Gee?" I asked.

"Hmm?"

"Can you show me some of your art sometime? I'll show you some of mine if you want."

"I-I can draw you something if you want," he said with a shrug.

"I'd like that. I could draw you something too! We could have our own little art trade!" I said excitedly.

He chuckled. "It sounds great to me."

When we finally had enough energy to get out of bed, we walked to Samantha's house so I could get some of my art supplies. I grabbed one of my sketchbooks and some colored pencils. Gerard had everything else I'd need.

We had decided it would be fun if we drew each other, so that's just what we did. We sat on opposite sides of the room with each other's sketchbook (he was drawing in mine, I was drawing in his), and drew in complete silence. We each stole the occasional glance at each other to take in the details.

In about twenty minutes, I was almost done. I was just finishing coloring it in and doing some shading when he set my sketchbook down and sighed proudly, signaling he was done. I struggled to get his eye color right for a few more minutes before I was finally finished. I looked it over once more. I was actually proud of how it turned out. I closed it and began to walk over to Gerard. He closed his as well, and we traded.

"Okay, on the count of three, open your sketchbook," I announced, causing him to laugh.

"One, two..." I paused. "Three!"

I looked at his drawing and nervously awaited his reaction to mine.

As I paid more attention to the drawing he had done of me, my jaw dropped. "Gerard, this is beautiful," I whispered, nearly speechless.

When I looked at him, he had nearly the same expression as I did. He was staring at the drawing with his mouth wide open. "Lily, just... Wow," he smiled.

"Mine is nothing compared to yours!" I exclaimed.

"Don't say that! Yours is amazing!" he said. I set my sketchbook down and walked over to him. He took the hint and set his sketchbook to the side as well, and I straddled his lap in the chair he was sitting in. I kissed him passionately. He deepended the kiss, and within a few seconds, thinks were getting heated. His tongue traced my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I denied him the entrance for a few seconds before I finally gave in. He let out a small moan and I felt him hardening beneath me. Just as I was about to remove his shirt, we heard footsteps on the basement stairs.

"Gerard, Lily! Oh! Um... I-I just came down to ask if you needed anything at the store because I'm leaving," Donna said awkwardly.

I blushed a deep shade of red and got off of Gerard's lap. I sat on his bed and he stayed in the chair, quickly grabbing the sketchbook to cover his boner.

"I don't think I need anything. Thanks, Mom," he gulped.

"Alright. What about you, Lily?" she asked. I shook my head and thanked her before she awkwardly walked back up the basement stairs. Gerard and I sat in awkward silence until we heard the front door shut, signalling Donna had left.

"So, where were we?" he said with a smirk.

"No way, Gee. Almost getting caught by your mom kind of killed the mood," I protested with a small chuckle. "Plus, Mikey's still home."
