I don't know what I've become. Something about Lily just makes me so fucking angry. I hate how Frank let her become our merch girl because our last one quit. I hate how she's happier without me. I hate how she doesn't even glance in my direction. I hate the way her nose crinkles up and her eyes squeeze shut when she laughs. I hate how she bites her lip when she concentrates. I hate how happy she is. I hate how she has so many inside jokes with the girls that I don't understand. I hate how close she is to Mikey. I hate her likeable personality that makes it impossible for anybody else to not like her. Even the guys still hang around her. Everybody loves her. Everybody except me.
We were currently setting up amps and stuff for the show. All of The Pretty Reckless, except Taylor, were helping too. The girls were sitting around to keep Lily company while she set up the merch. Samantha was still here, and I wasn't sure when she was leaving. I would ask Lily, but I hate her. I caught myself looking at her ass as she bent over to pick up yet another box of shirts. I caught myself and quickly look away. Sure, I hate her, but that doesn't mean she isn't hot. I noticed all of her quirks. I noticed how she stood up on the tips of her toes to hang up some of the shirts. I noticed how she would sigh in frustration and push her faded purple hair out of her face. I knew she would be getting it cut and dyed again soon. She hated when it got too long and constantly got in the way. She also hated when it started to fade back to blonde, just like it was now. I silently wondered what color she'd do next.
I mentally smacked myself. Why was I going on and on about Lily? I don't give a fuck about her. As far as I'm concerned, she's nothing but a merch girl and a stylist. All our relationship will ever be is strictly professional. No matter how hot she was. I mean, she really is hot. Her long, now mostly blonde, hair was pulled back into a ponytail so it wouldn't get in her way. She was wearing a My Chemical Romance tank top, skin-tight jeans, and a ton of wristbands on both arms. I knew the only reason she was wearing that shirt was because, as a merch girl, she had to. She had her long fingernails painted deep black. She had her eyes lined with black liner, and she was wearing light red lipstick. She was stunning. I watched as she frantically walked around making sure everything was in order. People would be here any minute.
"You sure you don't need help?" I heard Samantha ask. Lily laughed that infectious laugh of hers and shook her head. Samantha, Jamia, and Hayley all joined the crowd near the merch table so they could keep an eye on Lily. The rest of the band and I retreated to backstage so that The Pretty Reckless could come on as soon as everybody got here. People started to file in and I watched as Lily took a drink of her water bottle and got ready to sell merch.

Being the merch girl totally rocked! Most of the fans were so excited to be able to meet me. Some of them even asked me to sign their merch. I always had a sharpie on hand, just in case. People started to file in and a line formed at the merch table shortly after. I sipped my water bottle and prepared myself to deal with the crowd. The first person in line was a girl who looked about sixteen. She saw me and smiled warmly. "You're Lily, right?" she asked.
I nodded. "Uh-huh. Nice to meet you!" I said happily. She told me what she wanted and I quickly turned around and got it for her. "That'll be $22.50 please," I said kindly. She handed me the money and I put it away. She seemed sweet. I dealt with a few more people before Taylor's band came out. The line slowly ended as everybody joined the crowd. I decided that I'd slip out and join the crowd until more people came for merch. I danced along like I always do. Once their set had ended it was right back to the merch table for the short amount of time between the two bands. The first person I helped this time was a girl. She actually asked me to sign something for her, which I gladly agreed to. I finished the rest of the merch when My Chemical Romance finally came out. Mikey looked like he had been crying and I noticed something.
