When we last left off in the last chapter, our trainers had just entered Opelucid City. As usual Kim is up early. Max is not far behind.
Max: morning Kim, I hope you slept ok!
Kim: I slept fine once I got to sleep, thanks.
All of a sudden there is a glow from Kim's bag. A Pokémon egg is hatching. It hatches into a Bulbasaur.
Kim: A Bulbasaur? Oh yeah that's right I brought all my Pokémon eggs with me. Welcome to this world Bulbasaur!
Max: so got any ideas for breakfast today?
Kim: strawberry Pancakes for me!
Max: yeah that sounds good, I think that's what I'll have too!
Kim and Max Each grab a plate of strawberry pancakes and head to the table to eat. While they wait for Kris and Jonathan to wake they talk about the rest of the day.
Kim: so Max, any ideas of what we should do today?
Max: well, we should find the Pokémon gym and have our battles!
Kim: well yeah that is why we are here, but any idea of where Iris might be? Ash said she would be in this town somewhere.
Max: sorry no idea!
Kris and Jonathan wake up and then join Kim and Max at the breakfast table.
Kris seeing the pancakes....
Kris: oh that looks yummy!
Kim: it sure is, join us!
Jonathan: gladly!
Jonathan grabs a plate of strawberry pancakes. Kris is not far behind him. The four sit and eat their pancakes. After they finish....
Kim: I think I'm going to go explore the city.
She heads out of the Pokémon center and looks around. Jonathan and the others agree.
Jonathan: call if you find anything!
Kim: I will, the same goes for you three!
Kris, Jonathan, and Max: you've got it!
Kris, Jonathan, and Max finish getting ready for the day, and then head out in search of the Pokémon gym.
Back where Kim is....
Kim: wow look at this place!

Kim: Where do I start looking for Iris?
Kim walks around pausing every so often to call out for Iris.
Kim sees a large building ahead of her.
Kim: I wonder what building that is?
Kim start to walk towards the building when she plows into another person.
