Our story begins outside of the breeder's building where Kim and the others are deciding what to do next. After getting some rest the night before Kim wakes up and goes exploring.
She finds a fishing spot and decides to go fishing. All the Pokémon she finds are ones she has already caught! She decides to battle them with her Togepi hoping to train it some for the next gym!
Togepi battles well and soon is happy enough to evolve. It starts to glow and evolves into a Togetic.
Kim: Way to go Togetic I am so excited that you evolved!
Togetic: Toge, Toge, Tic, Tic, Tic! (Me too! I love you Kim!) Kim and Togetic head back to the campsite and find Jonathan and Kris have finally awaken.
Kim: Ready to go to Goldenrod City now guys?
Jonathan and Kris: yep!
Kris: wait is that Togepi?
Kim: yep it evolved into Togetic!
Kris: Wow it must really love you!
Jonathan and Kris: Congrats!
They walk in to the large city and gasps!
Kim: wow it's so big here! Where is the gym! I want to challenge the gym leader to a battle!
Jonathan: according to the map it says it is right over there! He points to a building towards the top right of town!
Kim: What are we waiting for? Let's go!
Kris: shouldn't we heal our Pokémon first?
Kim: huh? Oh yeah your right!
They walk in to the Pokémon center and heal their Pokémon.
Kim: now let's go to the gym!
Kris and Jonathan rush to keep up with Kim.
They get to the gym and are told that the gym leader is not there. She has gone to the radio tower.
They head to the radio tower to see if they can find the gym leader.
As they head ...
Kim: I wonder what types of Pokémon this gym leader has.
Jonathan: I think I heard that the gym leader's name is Whitney and that she uses normal type Pokémon! Although I hear that one of them is a Clefable and that's a fairy type!
Kris: yeah, along time ago before they discovered fairy types it was considered to be a normal type.
They walk towards the radio tower and Kim sees a large building standing tall next to the radio tower.
Kim: what is that building?
Kris: I am not sure?
Jonathan: according to the map that building is called the Global Terminal.
Kim: What do you do in it?
Kris: oh I think I had heard about that! If I understood right people can go into buildings like these you can trade Pokémon from any region!
Kim: really cool! Maybe I should try!
Kris: sounds like fun maybe I should do it to!
Jonathan: yeah I guess if the two of you are trying maybe I should to!
Kim: Only if you truly want to! We are not forcing you to. Let's go there first then to the radio tower.
Kris: ok, but I thought that you wanted to battle the gym leader first time when you got here.
