Chapter 58: Mossdeep City Here We Come!

When we last left our trainers they were getting ready to head to Mossdeep City. Early the next morning Kim wakes up early and walks to the edge of the water.

Kim: I wonder what type of Pokémon the gym leader of Mossdeep City has? Let's see we have already had rock, fighting, electric, fire, normal, and flying. That leaves Dark, Psychic, water, grass, poison, dragon, fairy, ice, ghost, ground, bug, and steel. Let's see there are no Dark type gyms in any region in the world. Gee I wonder why that is?

Suddenly Kris appears from out of the Pokémon center. She hears Kim talking to herself.

Kris: what you doing Kim? Trying to talk yourself out of something?

Kim: no I'm trying to figure out what the next gym type is.

Kris: what have you discovered?

Kim: well I realized that no region in the world has a dark type gym. Wonder why that is?

Kris: that's right they don't have a dark type gym! I don't know why that is! What else have you discovered.

Kim: well let's see, seams like almost every region has an electric type gym.

Kris: that's not true there was not an electric type gym in the Johto region.

Kim: oh that's right, I forgot that they didn't. Ok well let's see, they just recently discovered the fairy type region so I doubt that it's a fairy type gym.

Kris: yeah I only know of one Fairy type gym and it's not here! It's in the Kalos Region. Valerie runs it!

Kim: let's see I doubt that it is dragon, steel, or bug. Ground seams out as well there aren't many ground type Pokémon in the world! It's not ice either because it's to warm in this region for ice types to really survive well. Wait a minute psychic type Pokémon are very common everywhere in the world! I bet that either this one or the next one has psychic type Pokémon.

Kris: that's true there are a lot of psychic type Pokémon. Let's see that means we should look for dark types and ghost types to battle them with.

Kim: yeah I have dark types of Mightyena and Poochyena as well as Absol and Umbreon. Carvanha, Sharpedo, and Crawdaunt are water and dark types as well. Nuzleaf is a Grass and Dark type. Spirtomb and Sableye are dark and Ghost types. I also have ghost types like Duskull and Shuppet.

Kris: that's right I have Mightyena, Spirtomb, Shuppet, and Duskull.

Just then Jonathan, Max, and May find Kim and Kris. There you two are. What have you two been doing?

Kim: oh we have been talking and discussed what type of Pokémon we will be battling at the next gym!

Max: why didn't you just asked me? I could have told you! It a Psychic gym.

Kim: I knew it!

Jonathan: ok so we need to train our dark and ghost type Pokémon.

Kim: Yep the three of us all caught Duskull, Shuppet, and Spirtomb.

Jonathan: well then what are we waiting for let's get to training our Pokémon!

Kim: I agree!

Everyone trains their Pokémon preparing for a tough battle against the gym leader. Jonathan trains his Poochyena, Spirtomb, Shuppet, and Duskull. His Poochyena evolves into a Mightyena and his Duskull evolves into a Dusclops. His Shuppet evolves into a Banette.

Jonathan: way to go Mightyena, Dusclops, and Banette!

Kris trains her Mightyena, Duskull, Shuppet, and Spirtomb. Her Duskull evolves into a Dusclops and her Shuppet evolves into a Banette.
