A new trainer Kim gets the adventure of her life when she starts her own Pokémon journey.
New things happen along the way! New Pokémon friends and even new trainer friends.

The next morning comes and as usual Kim is up early and starts talking with her parents while she waits for Kris, Jonathan, Ash, and Max to wake up and meet up at Kim's house.
Green: So Kim, your father and I didn't get the chance to give you your birthday presents yesterday. Here they are!
Kim's mom hands her two presents.
Green: those two presents are from your father and I!
Red: I also received this from your Grandfather.
He gives Kim an envelope with some money in it that Kim can use on her next trip in the new region.
Kim: Thanks mom, thanks dad!
Kim opens her presents while she waits for her friends to awake. She finds money for her Trip in one and a Liberty Pass in the other.

Green: I know that you all haven't decided yet, but I know that you all will eventually go to the Unova Region some time. That Liberty Pass allows you to be able to go to the Liberty Gardens. Rumor has it that you can some time find the Pokémon Victini there. I know that you don't have Victini yet so I thought that maybe you and your friends could get lucky enough to find one on the Island.
Kim: wow thanks mom and dad! I love the gifts. I can uses them on my journey!
Just then Max and Jonathan enter Kim's house and head for the kitchen. Ash is not far behind them.
Max: hey what's that you've got there?
Kim: it's a liberty pass. My parents gave it to me for a birthday present!
Jonathan: where can you use it Kim?
Kim: it's in the Unova region!
Ash: so is that where you all are going to next?
Kim: we haven't decided but maybe!
Ash: if you do, say hello to Iris for me! She and I traveled together. She was trying to become a dragon master and was well known in Opelucid city.
Kim: ok will do! I'll remember that for when we do go to that region if we decide not to go there next.
Kris wakes and enters the kitchen where the rest of the group has gathered.
Kris: hey guys what are you all talking about?
She sees the Liberty pass in Kim's hand.
Kris: is that what I think it is?
Kim: it's a Liberty pass!
Kris: I thought so those are quite rare!
Kim: my parents gave it to me for my birthday!
Kris: wow does that mean we're going to go to the Unova Region next?
Kim: we haven't decided yet! That was the next question I was about to ask the group!
