Our Trainers have entered Driftveil City. They spent the night at the Pokémon gym and are now ready to explode Driftveil City! Unlike the normal day every one wakes around the same time. They eat breakfast and then start to look around the city.
Kim: wow look at this place what do you think guys should we split up and see what all is around here?
Kris: yeah I think that would be a good idea!
Max: sure I guess so!
Jonathan: shouldn't we find the Pokémon gym first before we go exploring or finding new Pokémon, that way we could find out what kind of Pokémon we will be battling ?
Kim: we would if we could find it easily, but I actually think it would be nice to just explore the city to see what is all around here then head to the gym when we are sure we are ready! We could split up and report what we find! I'll go south!
Kris: same!
Jonathan: fine Max and I will head north then.
Kim: if anyone finds anything interesting report it and will meet up!
Kim and Kris head south. They enter an area called the Cold Storage. There are patches of grass. Kim and Kris enter the grass. Suddenly Kim is attacked by a Herdier.
Kim: Stoutland come on out! Use Attract!
The Attract fails.
Kim: ah so your a girl! I do need another Herdier!
The Herdier calls for help! Another Herdier comes running.
Kris: Hey Kim, can I catch that Herdier?
Kim: sure, I only need one of them! Let's find out if it's a girl or a boy! Stoutland use attract!
The move works.
Kris: cool it's a boy, just what I wanted!
Kim and Kris catch the Herdier. Suddenly Kris is attacked by a large Pokémon.
Kim: am I seeing what I think I see in the wild?
Kris: if you are seeing a Stoutland yes that is what I am seeing too! I think I'll catch it! I might as well have the full set!
Kris battles and catches the wild Stoutland.
Kris: yes, I caught a wild Stoutland and it's mine all mine!
Suddenly the area around Kim and Kris gets cold.
Kim: Burr did it just get cold?
Kris: yeah it sure did!
Two Vanillite appear in the grass. Snow also appears.
Kim: whoa our first ice type Pokémon in the Unova region!
Kris: Kim let's catch them!
Kim: you bet I will! I actually need three of them! But one for now is fine!
Kim and Kris each catch a Vanillite. During the battle Kim's Vanillite calls for backup and another Vanillite appears. Kim catches this one as well. Kim gets a call from Jonathan.
Jonathan: Kim, Kris we found the Pokémon gym!
Kim: awesome we found new Pokémon! If you two want an ice type Pokémon named Vanillite meet us down here and will help you find one for your team!
Max: I want one!
Jonathan: same! We are on the way down!
Jonathan and Max head west passing the Pokémon center and then south from the Pokémon center to where the entrance to the city was. They continue south. They find Kim and Kris and enter the grass. It's not long before they both find Vanillite. They both catch the Vanillite.
