When we last left our trainers, they had found a cabin outside of the cave of Giant Chasm. They had spent the night in the cabin. As always Kim is up early with Max on her heels.
Kim: morning Max, did you sleep well?
Max: yes I did thanks for asking, how about you?
Kim: I slept ok, I'm just too excited for us to get out of here and get to the Pokémon league. I feel like I'm so ready to become a fifth region champion!
Max: I bet you are! So what do you think? Should we go ahead and eat breakfast while we wait for Kris and Jonathan to wake up?
Kim: yeah I hungry!
Kim and Max find the older woman in the Kitchen.
Older woman: ah, you two are up. Are the other two still asleep?
Kim: yes ma'am they are late risers.
Older woman: I bet you two are hungry sit down and I will make you breakfast. How does strawberry waffles sound?
Kim: sounds great!
Max: yeah sounds delicious to me I'll have some too!
Kim and Max sit down at the table and have breakfast. Finally Jonathan and Kris wake up. They join Kim and Max and have breakfast.
Kris: yum these strawberry waffles are delicious!
Kim: I agree they are delicious!
After everyone had finished their breakfast, Kim and the others left the cabin and headed north entering Route 23.
Kim: hey look I see some tall grass over there.
Kim points to the grass.
Kim: I wonder if there aren't any new Pokémon in that area?
Kris: probably, only one way to find out!
Max: Who wants to head first?
Kim: I will!
Kim leads the others to the tall grass. Suddenly she is attacked by Pokémon.
Kim: wow it's a Bouffalant!
Kris: I found one too!
Max: me too!
Jonathan: same!
Kim and the others battle and catch their Bouffalant.
Kim: yes that one more for the Pokédex!
Max: awesome Kim, how many more do you have to go till you have completed the Pokédex?
Kim: let's see, I need to catch a Heatmor, a Durant, three Deino or any of its evolutionary line. I also need to rescue the baby Zekrom from N.
Kris: if my math is correct then only five more Pokémon for the Pokédex to be completed for this region.
Jonathan: wow that is so awesome!
Kim: yep, it is awesome! I just hope I can catch all of them! I'm getting so close to the Pokémon league. Do you think I will catch them all before we get to the Pokémon league?
Max: maybe all but the baby Zekrom!
Kim and the others battle the wild Pokémon that they pass along the way. Kim trains her Pokémon that she thinks might help her win the Pokémon league along the way.
Kim: you know guys, I think I will train my Audino with it to make a stone. You never know when I will need it in battle.
Jonathan: that's a good idea!
