(Because the previous chapter cannot be considered a real story, have this as an extra)
Could this be considered a sea shanty? I'm not sure, but I hope you like it either way.
The ship sways across the seas
The only life to be seen
The captain shouts
The island comes
The treasure in our handsA ship sways across the seas
A black flag bright and clean
A lone cloud
Amid the watery sky
A lone soul
Against the oddsSo sways the ship across the seas
So we fight to live
So we sing and be loud
So our ship stands proudWhen the ship sways across the seas
Weaving patterns of salt and foam
We chant to rhythms of old
We pray for times of oldGone is the ship from the seas
Gone are the treasures we seek
Gone are the stories we told
Gone are the pirates of oldNovember 29th 2021

The Lost Dreams of a Broken Poet
Short StoryA collection of poems and short stories I write when I'm bored. Most of the themes are sad, so I hope that, in a hundred years when I'm long dead, students read them as part of their Literature lessons. XD ⚠Major character death in some stories⚠
