To the dear reader, I know you're gonna like this one. Personally, I think it's hilarious.
I feel a tingling in my throat
And my heart fills with dread.
I feel my brain start to clog up
And I can no longer think straight.
What is it,
That you have done to me?
Unwanted, I can't sleep because of you.
You fill my nights with endless tissues
My friends are no longer a comfort.
At least, when I got to wear a mask,
I did not have to fear your deadly attacks.
What is it,
That you have done to me?
Unwanted, even after so many years.
Ugh, don't you just hate the common cold?October 31st '22
And I do, I hate getting colds :(
Anyway, this is the last poem I wrote in 2022. I have felt rather uninspired since then, so I'm not sure which will be the following date you'll see on my next poem. Lately, I've been getting back to writing short stories.
