I've been a straight A's student since I could remember, and whenever I made a single mistake there would be that stupid kid that would smile and point it out, as if the perfect angel had suddenly turned into the Devil. It was so messed up.
You know what's funny?
People are waiting for me to fall
I keep climbing, higher and higher
The ground a mere spot down below.
And I feel their stares upon my back
And their cheers when I'm about to crack. You know what's funny?
People can't wait for me to break.
Any slip, any mistake
One more weigh upon my back
And the summit never gets closer
But I keep climbing and climbing
Ever so higher
Their laughs and jokes
Their smiles and pokes.
A dragon sleeping still.You know what's funny?
Sometimes I wish I would fall.(September 17th '22)

The Lost Dreams of a Broken Poet
Short StoryA collection of poems and short stories I write when I'm bored. Most of the themes are sad, so I hope that, in a hundred years when I'm long dead, students read them as part of their Literature lessons. XD ⚠Major character death in some stories⚠
