White snow fell from the sky. It was beautiful. The first snowfall of the year. Making it that much more surprising that a small baby was found outside of the orphanage that morning. Nothing was left to indicate who she may be. Only wrapped in a small yellow blanket. The young child giggled and reached for the falling snow, seemingly unaffected by the cold.
She couldn't be older than two. But there was something strange about her, there seemed to be ice growing across her skin. The young child had consumed a devil fruit at some point before her discovery. Perhaps that was why she was abandoned. The village did view those with the devil fruit powers as cursed.
Having no other choice, the orphanage reluctantly let the abomination in. She was given the name Miyuki. A name that meant snow.
