11: A God?!

A few days after Deruth returned, Cale and Alex are sitting in front of the grave of Jour, having a picnic together alone.

"Alex, how did you and mother met?" Cale asked

Alex raised an eyebrow then proceeds to chew and drinks a cup of coffee.

"Jour... We met a very long time ago..." she answered
"Do you still remember?" Cale pleaded her to remember
"Heh, of course I could still vividly remember it was a fateful encounter of us" she chuckled. "And it was a huge secret how" she let out the cliffhanger and it makes him more curious

Cale pouts, she got him hanged there.

Alex giggled of Cale's cuteness, she felt a bit guilty but a secret is a secret.

"Then, our encounter is also a secret?" he asked. 'If every encounter she made is a secret, does that mean our encounter is also a secret?'

"Not really, most of my encounters with other species from me were asked to be a secret" she answered. "Do you also wanted to make it a secret?" she asked

Cale shakes his head. "I want you to be able to tell the others that I have a close relationship with you, because I want others to know you could be very close to a human" Cale answered and teased her at the end. Perking his non existing cat ears and whisks.

Alex pinched Cale's cheeks. "That's not how I am, this little kitten" Cale giggled at her reaction

"For your info I did have many connections and knowledge of the world, that's why I knew your mother and her family, you'll learn it too you know, but your mother isnt saying anything so I don't have a right to tell you, if you're that curious ask your mother" she said then barrage Cale a lot of kisses on the cheeks playfully, and Cale was feeling ticklish and laughed loud

"But mother isnt saying anything, even her young self didnt say anything but I should grow more strong and knowledgeable first so I could understand what she'll say to me, that's what they said"

"Then, grow faster! By the way, what are you going to do now? I might be your guardian but I want to hear you out first, he already found his new happiness"

Cale and Alex found out, when Danny couldn't hold it in because they interrogated him. Cale wasn't that shock because he felt it, he felt sad and betrayed. Alex was speechless and angry for Cale. Cale could only let out a little silent cry in her embrace to brace all of what is happening to him.

They were in front of the Jours grave to discuss their next move. Alex told him about some basic info about the Thames family which is approved by the Jours. (Alex could hear the ancient power of the Jours, when she's near of Cale)

"I'll be taking the education of the ancient clans" Cale determined to follow what path his mother and Alex made for him.

Ancient clans were clans who survived and are still existing but pitifully few mentioned in any books or history but mostly in myths of the olds, they live, blended with the others in present era. Ancient clans are powerful clans that the other many nations must join forces to scratch them damage, they were feared and respected that's why even their members could be a noble just by stepping on countries like Roan Kingdom, the Scarlet Clan is an example, the leaders are treated as Kings.

Cale could take the ancient clan education because of Alex, before several centuries ago, Thames clan isn't that powerful or famous, they just existed in ancient times but not that powerful, however Alex being an instructor of a certain class before invited a Thames, many questioned this but after this Thames proved himself to the other clan that he can blend with the powerful clans and did more amazing results, they didn't questioned Alex's doings anymore just let her do her works. Then it began the Thames greatness and became one of the most respected and feared clan. "Just being backed up by a Scarlet makes you stronger" that's why Scarlets were got more feared than before and their chicks.

After cleaning up, Alex revealed her newest invention, a runed teleportation paper, similar to the mana generated teleportation scroll, as usual being runed but not being teared up.

"Just peel out the adhesive paper from the sticky one then stick on those to teleport, easier right?" Alex proudly presents her newest invention

"Wow! Amazing! Alex why do you only came up on this now?" Cale complements her but at the end teased her.

Cale knew how when to tease and not, of course. Cale knew how introverted this teacher and guardian of his.

"Hayyyss, Cale, you dont have an ounce of mana and still tease, goodness" Alex teased him back

Cale giggled. He also knew how Alex adjusted just for him.

But wait...

"You also have mana?"
"I do have, and no less than a dragon of course"

Cale is speechless, he knew Alex is stong and powerful but having mana also makes her overpowered.

"Cale, I am different you know, like a dragon we lived like eternal and I dont know if we die" she honestly confessed like to the other Thames'

"You don't die?" Cale dropped his jaw

"Dont know, I were damaged before enough to die for humans and other beings but Im still living" she shrugged her shoulders

"Like a god?" He asked in disbelief and confusion.

"Not really..." She admitted
"What?!" he screeched
