Basen became 15, a legal age, he's an adult now. He became the official heir of the Henituse house. Many were saying that the eldest of the family is the best candidate, which is he agrees too, but they couldn't reach to him and Cale already severed his ties to the Henituse name and was granted to be removed of the heir candidate of the Henituse family.

Basen knew that his hyung wants him to be the Count and wished him to be a great Count. He wasn't supposed to be the heir but he is now.

One time he heard his father crying, he didn't know what really happened before they barged in to their lives, so he couldn't judge who to blame.

He heard many tales about the family before them, they're all happy stories, but after the death of the late countess it suddenly lost record, their happiness lost and never came back, just pure destruction in the family, especially from the outsiders perspective and because of the external family.

As he heard various tales from the old servants, he felt awful, everyone in the family is a victim.

But the most damaged is his hyung.

"I witnessed this before young master Basen, the almost to be tragedy of the Henituse family..." The retired maid told him
"What is it?" He didn't mean to dig up the past but it suddenly flooded from this old woman.

Basen already heard about that multiple times, about how great is his hyung and how did the old geezers acknowledged his hyung. But he want to hear his hyung's greatness from others.
'They've should sang praises for him' he thought everytime

"But before that, like I said, it almost became a tragedy after a tragedy" she continues with her serious tone which got Basen to listen more

"What happened?" He asked

"The young master got poisoned" the old woman revealed.

It shocked Basen.

"The external family tried to harm the master and the young master, everyone tried to plot behind them and killed them"

"What?... Then what happened?"

"The young master was poisoned while the master didn't because the servants got poisoned in his stead, the servants ate his poisoned food and they died, while the young master was coughing a lot of blood in the Count's study while doing the Count's duty, his personal butler was not there when he got poisoned, he almost died there, but luckily butler Ron and his son came to rescue him, and I was passing by when I was ordered to get a healer and doctor, after that they heavily guarded the young master that even I who served the family for decades couldn't see the young master if I'm not the one who gives the young master his medicine I wouldn't know what happened."

Basen gulped unconsciously. It was a frightening past.

"When they young master Basen and Countess Henituse arrived, the family suddenly brawled inside, they were plotting and they want to threw the newcomers out, but the late young master prevented everything they wanted, which lead to him being rumored as a trash, he slightly changed but not bad, he is a great brother for you isn't he young master Basen?"
