13: Nightly Visit

In the cold and gloomy west wing of the Henituse main mansion before the day the of the birth of the newest Henituse child.

It was very dark and the night screams spook and the eldest young master of the Henituse is currently becoming a rune study addict that he would sacrifice his night sleep. His face is a bit pale but his chubby cheeks could tell that someone is making him healthy.

"Sleep!" and the young master is now wrapped in a huge fluffy blanket like a burrito.

"I haven't got my answers yet! I have to finish it! I cant sleep!" he demanded to be freed, he needs to get it done.

"Is that so? Can't sleep?" then his face got buried in her embrace that he could directly inhale her sweet lulling scent that send him to sleep.

"You child, what the fuck are you studying?" She placed him on his bed comfortably and she browsed in his notes. Mostly about runes but underneath are about childbirth and care for mother and baby.

"Pain relief rune, healing rune.... These are for her no? My sweet lovely child you are really are the best lovely child!~" she sing song while nodding.

Then the morning came and the labor of the Countess started after Cale gave her some bunch of sculptured pendant necklace made from a red wood and red unknown jewels.

"An amulet for you, good luck and be safe" he handed to her then ran away.

Violan smiled and then felt a bit of pang in her heart because she couldn't get a way for them to bond unlike he did even just a little bit of interaction, being the new countess made her very busy and her pregnancy is making it difficult. But she's happy that the child accepted her being in the house and wishing her well.

After the labor of the countess, everyone greeted the countess for the safe delivery but a young red headed child walked to his room then threw himself onto the bed then slept like a log. Taking a long marathon of all night is a bad idea.

After a week, Cale suddenly felt a miss. He haven't seen his baby sister, because he is busy to keep the peace and order of the county for the celebration for Lily's birth. (Being a shadow count obliges to make peace inside and outside of the county)

It was night and everyone is asleep except for the two who are currently wearing black suit to visit someone.

"The duo are asleep, we can proceed now"

And they disappeared then appeared in the room of the youngest like some thieves.

"Hello, I'm your big brother, sorry for making you missed me, I got busy for the last few days I hope you could forgive your big brother"

Then Cale spoke to her for an hour he talked about like what he like her to be in the future and having his back from the bad guys and protecting them as his younger siblings.

It was very adorable, but for Alex it was still a foreign word to her, the word sibling.

And before they head back to his room they stopped at Basen's room to check on him.

Cale just stared at him then smiled like a smug cat and a bit splitting image of a smiling fox.

"Alex, I know what to do to vacant the heir position now"

"Passing him tittle would be good, but they already saw your performance they will not let you go"

"I got another plan for that"

And then after that night, the loosed lip servant were in duty to Cale's wing and make him some bad reputation.

Cale heard a lot of children bully Basen then beat the shit out of them that they gave highest grade medicine vial for recovery.

After that, the rumor of the lovely young master to trash like spoiled brat spread out, thanks to the delusional servants who read a lot of dramatic novels and made out some stories a half of lies.

Cale kept his nightly visits to his baby sister and younger brother. To him they are more important than himself that made Alex shook her head in tired expression. Cale's plan is frustratedly working.
