48: Rescued & Safe

Loud sound of crushing, shouting and fighting, it will put anyone on a daze as  they just  came out of  dungeon they got held in for years, imagine being captured after the biggest war ever in their lives.

"Hey, idiots!". "Hurry up!!"
"Wake up!!" The white haired young man softly slap the red haired one, but it was futile, he doesn't seem to be conscious.

"Just let's get out of here!"

"They're coming!"

And they left, holding the subject of their rescue like a princess and left through a weird enchanted mirror that broke after its use.

It was horrible.

And what's more horrible is the state of the rescued red haired young man, his body is battered, purple, black and red decorated his milky white skin, his skin is dry and he looked malnourished, like he haven't eaten anything for a long time.

"Just what this bastard did to be like this? I thought he was with teacher all the time, where is she?"

".... I think, it's because teacher is not around anymore, Cale lost Alex, and he was captured"

"Those damn bastards!!! The war is already finished! How come they won't stop?! Do they want another war?! I will give them their last one" the white haired young man is shivering in anger.

"Ken...."

Mel came in the Killian mansion after the 6 years traveling with the group, he left as he have to face his problematic son of a gun father who wreck havoc in some shady part of some nameless continent. His connection with Alex partly did some to his favor to find his father and knocked some sense to him for wrecking the balance of the world.

He found out that Ken was busy cleaning the Hunter association with the Killian family. He found the newly elected chairman of the hunter association together with them in the garden having tea and relaxing.

He was like, "seriously? How come they are able to do some business with the Hunter association if they are the most wanted and bountied people in the world and most of them aren't even hunters to begin with?"

"Well they are hella strong and feared and respected people, even I avoid having contacts with them, they only kill in hunter world" his father said truthfully, even though he's selfish and aloof being he doesn't mind to tell his son even if he's annoyed.

"Why are you telling me your dislikes? I don't intend to be with you for a long time, it was just because I was ashamed of hearing your name in those history books in the association library like you're a mad man for fights that you only start but never finish, Alex do finishes it. It was annoying!!" He told him and he huffed releasing his stress because of his father.

He just stares at his son and chuckled.

"Ha!" The chairman exclaimed. "Vinson! Son of a fearless bitch! You're here?!" The chairman couldn't believe what he is seeing as he gave Vinson a fist bump

'Why are they friendly with each other?'

"My sprout dragged me around, what am I supposed to do?!" he joked

"So you found him right on time Mel, however Ken isn't at home right now, but you can wait for him here, your bedroom will be cleaned up in a moment"

"Thank you aunt Kana, I apologize for the sudden intrusion, I haven't even called Ken before we came here"

"Don't worry about that, you are always welcome in this house anytime, Ken might finish earlier  if you let him known you're here" she said as she coos  and rub her swollen belly
