Kim Rok Soo was just a leader of a deathless squad that fights monsters in the apocalyptic South Korea, he was an orphan and he experienced lost and despair that powered him up, however not a combat type power. He's an intellectual kind of an awakened, but he lead his group without losing anyone in the process, however not all the time luck is by his side, he got unlucky to face a SS rank monster that destroyed two cities in just an hour, and just in one move that hit him, that he's body well.... Due to lack of word to describe when his body was found... Just say he became a corpse. And he found himself breathing and his body reverted to his 20 year old body but his abilities are still there... He is alive and he doesn't know why.

It's not that he have someone that he loves and look forward to see everyday, he accepted his reality, he already accepted what happened and might chose this world than a run down world full of dangerous monsters and people. At least this world he could manipulate what happened in the novel and help Choi Han to defeat the evil and have his slacker life until he die of happy old age. His record has a lot of help for him.

However how will they start?

It was the past time the Harris village massacre and the next incident is the berserk of a dragon kid that Choi Han slayed in the novel.

He doesn't want that child to suffer to death. It is a dragon. A powerful, great, and mighty being. No one could supress nor tame them. They have intellect and freedom and a lot of pride.

And Kim Rok Soo doesn't want to get in their way.

However, that dragon is a child and no child should suffer. It already suffered enough, and it is enough they have to rescue the child.

It seems that Choi Han and him are on one page.

In the novel, there's a lot magical devices and the chains that suppressed the child so they could tame it.

But Choi Han doesn't have any idea how to rescue the child without many ruckus.

Then Choi Han asked Ron.

"Do you know where we could rent a anti magic device with a long range? We need it" Choi Han asked

Ron raised his eyebrow in confusion.

"Why would we rent it? It's expensive, 10 million gallions just for a few days and 10 billion gallions to buy it and it's inconvenient since it's very slow to activate, why do we need it?"

".... Don't know, ask Rok Soo" Choi Han answered that made Ron look at Kim Rok Soo and smiled at him benignly and asked. "Why do we need it?"

It made Rok Soo's spine shiver.

If Kim Rok Soo could, he would've already killed Choi Han for involving him for asking Ron the most important thing.

"To dispell some magical devices to rescue someone, we need it, it's a child"

Hearing what Rok Soo said, Ron thought that Kim Rok Soo's relative is also a victim and he knew where they are hiding the child.

"Why are you dirty?" He asked. It is improper to ask the master of the house like that. But it is Cale and he knew Cale would love the way he casually talk to him in return of being unable to be touched by the dirty young puppy.

"I just finished doing this! Look! Just press here and there and wait for a few hours to cancel all the magic in the ranged area of this device! And my invention is activated faster and lasts longer than the latest anti magic device! Blah blah blah" Cale is blabbering all about the device he created. He looked very happy and proud of his work. And Beacrox is very happy to be the first one Cale would brag on his device.

Unknown to him he was outside the kitchen and a couple of young maids are passing by. He smiled gently and feeling nostalgic.

And the poor maidens who saw him collapsed because their hearts throbed and they couldn't contain the butterflies in their stomach. They saw the elegant and lady killer smile of the aloof and the most handsome chief in the mansion.

Seeing how the young maids ran fast away from him, it made Beacrox confused. "Am I ugly?" He asked the boys.

"Pfftt..." Ron couldn't contain his giggles. He is very proud that his son became such a great young man that every maiden would fall to him. However his son is not even thinking about it and taking the real meaning on opposite direction which made him sigh.

"Son. I'll feel sorry to them, you got my youthful face, but... Nevermind" Ron tapped his shoulder as he shook his head.

"Is it about why they are afraid of you because you look scary to them? So they think I'm also scary?" He asked that made Ron dumbfounded.

"What???"

"......"

"Do you have the item like an anti magic device?" Rok Soo asked he want to cut off the awkwardness because of some.... Well .... Misunderstanding....

"The young master gave it to me before he got kidnapped. And this activates in just 2 hours and the range is 5 hectares and lasts up to 2 days and recharges with the sunlight for 5 hours"

"That's great, that's very powerful" Kim Rok Soo sang praises.

"Just tell me when we'll use it"
