38: Sail To Aunt Mira

After three months of sailing, they stopped to some ports and got to look around some port cities, the ship is almost there to Bean Island.

It did took quite long since they came from the West continent to the outskirts of the East continent.

"We're almost there we sailed so fast!" Ken muttered in amazement

"Is it that fast Ken? I haven't boarded on a ship before" Cale asked since he haven't boarded on a ship before as he always got transport spell to travel.

They could also do transport, but not to arrive in Bean island to be exact just a bit nearer since the East and West got some barrier that hindered travelling of beings, as the Jours explained to him.

And the meaning of this adventure is to be able to have fun travelling.

"When I took the exam the ship was also fast but this is faster and the route is safer, we got to deal with a kraken when in the middle of the night" Mel said

"Oh? Hahahahahah" the captain laughed
"Senior, why are you laughing?"
"That's because that kid started his exam when he left his island, you got some guts kid, that's good" the captain complimented Mel and ruffled his head

"Oh thanks" Mel giggled

"If you want some adventures we could use that route, and test the ship to fight off some krakens"

"That's good idea captain!"
"I'm in"
"This will be fun"

The passengers who heard agreed, they're thirsty of some action.

"Let's go!"

Then the ship turned around.

"It's exciting, isn't it?" The middle aged man with strong physics asked
"It is, no? Cale, Ken" Mel agreed with some nods
The two boys nodded as well.

Cale is not eager to do some action but he is excited to see his seniors in action.

"Here's the twist! The juniors must be the first to get in action, coached them well will you?!" The captain shouted
"Jaaa!!!" The others replied shouting

"The newbies will showcase their abilities and the seniors will guide and protect them, so get wild juniors!"

"How many newbies aside from the trio are there?"

"There's six more newbies in the group"

The newbies they are talking about passed the exam years ago but they just recently got into the hunter business.

"Great! Now! Newbies will pick a senior to listen to! In 10 minutes pick a position to stand by on!" The huge voice of captain spread the order

The trio are trying to find a suitable senior for them as the seniors kept asking them to pick them, like they are so thirsty of someone to coach on and try to teach their techniques on them.

It only took a minute for them to chose.

Cale got the Captain, as it wasn't banned and the captain laughed amused at Cale's reason.

Mel got someone shady, though the silent senior didn't fought with others only to be in sidelines watching the others ramble, he got surprised when Mel held his hand and smiled at him.
'I fucked up, whatever! He looks like a good kid to follow my orders, he look strong as well'. Well he panicked for a bit there.

"Hello senior, I'm Mel, please take care of me"
"I'm Lard, a senior of yours, take care of me too"

"Pleased to meet you" both shook hands

"What's your strong point?" He asked not to beat the bush.

"I'm physically strong and flexible and agile" Mel answered.
