24: White Haired Kid

It was bad, a bad day for Alex.

Roaming around the unknown territory is nothing but feeling the unknown guts made her hurry up and run.

She couldnt find Cale's trace in their house, or any in the territory. But she is sure he is alive and safe. She came back to work again to finish it quickly.And she felt that her last rune spell was used.(Those who made the rune spell will be able to feel if their spell was used successful or not, because they could engrave their soul fragment in the spell, if they ever engrave their fragment there for any reason,and to those who does this who have less than a century life span it will be difficult and dangerous and for above century life span it will be tiresome.

And It's been almost 3 weeks, Cale is nowhere to be found, but Cale's life gem is still whole, meaning he is alive, strong and must be kicking some ass as she taught him different ways to mess everyone and anyone. 

She is confident Cale would not let himself suffer, and the others must suffer because of him. She taught him what he must need to do to survive.

And because she almost finish her job, she teleported to Cale. It was rather quicker because Cale is near than their house meaning Cale is still out and roaming around. She wanted to surprise Cale.

And then she heard Cale and the Jours talking about friends.

'Never thought about that, after Cale became powerful he could live alone everywhere. Like us... Scarlets' she thought.

But there is a contradicting thought and is a truth

'But he is a human, he's a feeble human that could be eased off on my finger' It is a hard truth that could not be changed, he isnt born like his mother who's naturally strong at birth. He is born from a dying body. It was his first misfortune.

'No matter what I will be with him, I shall make him strong to survive anything.'

And she recalled a memory of a long past. Where they are alone for a long time and the third time she confirmed humans cannot live without other humans.

'Whatever, I must approve those who will be Cale's friends, sorry not sorry Cale, that matter is where I am the most strict of, I know humans more than humans know themselves'

And she startled Cale, when she appeared out of nowhere. Cale almost lost his balance but Alex caught him.

"Freaking hell! That's it Alex what are you doing?!"

"Checking on you? I heard some mess you made in your house, and what the fuck are you doing here, and I thought I told you not to practice that rune, why the hell did you do it? Are you alright? Did it do something on you?"

"So if you heard it then you must have known why, youre the one who thought me how to do it"

"I warned you not, it is not a joke, Cale, you know how dangerous it is right? You already experienced it"

"I do but I know I could do it" he defended

"Then you should've have let me know first, cant you write a letter? I'm worried you know" Alex looked like a strict mother to her child

Cale couldnt talk back. He's kind of guilty, but then he is sulking at her.

"Hmp!" he sulked and turned away from her

"That's out of the line Cale," she reminded him, but no matter what he is sulking and she must do something about it. "What do you want?" Alex gets it, she knew what's going on his mind, so wanted to ease Cale's feeling now. 'He might be overwhelmed of some of his feelings now, I should spoil him to compensate my lost time with him. For all beings sake I am the one who said I wished to become his parent'. She consoles him,
