We're moving in today. Maaga pa lang ay umalis na ako sa bahay para dalhin ang mga gamit ko sa unit naming. After two hours, Cera arrived and started sorting her things.
"Dadaan daw si Ate mamaya. Magdadala siya ng mga pagkain," sabi ko kay Cera.
"Okay," she said. Pinagpatuloy niya ang paglalagay ng damit sa walking closet. The left side of the closet is mine and the right side is hers. Madali naman kaming nagkasundo sag anon.
"Marunong ka maggitara?" I asked when I saw her holding a guitar. Nilagay niya ito sa gilid ng kama, sa may tapat ng bintana.
"Yeah," she answered right away.
There's a huge wall between us. Pader na malapad at matangkad pero hindi ko nakikita, narararamdaman ko lang. Ever since I saw her in UP Diliman when we entered college, I felt it. She built her walls and it makes me wonder why.
Anong problema at bakit nagtayo siya ng pader para sa sarili niya? I don't want to meddle but at the same time it makes me want to know her more.
Tangina.
"Ako hindi," I said, referring to the guitar.
"And?" She shot her eyebrow up. "Anong gagawin ko?"
"Turuan mo ko," sagot ko.
"Turuan mo sarili mo. Go learn from Youtube or something," sabi niya at lumabas ng kwarto.
I sighed. Naupo ako sa kama at humiga. Tumingin lang ako sa kisame at hinayaang lumipas ang oras.
When I turned my back on the right, I saw her putting her make-ups on the vanity table.
