After being invited to the Business Majors' seminar in UP Diliman, the couple decided to take a walk before going home.
They are holding each other's hand as they walk on Roxas Street in UP Diliman.
"The leaves are falling again," Cera said.
"Just like when I met you," Mikael said.
Cera chuckled. "Right."
How many years have passed since they first met?
But where do we start counting?
Is it when the little Cera snatched little Mikael's candy? Is it when they danced together on Cera 7th birthday? Is it when they met here in UP Diliman? Is it when Mikael was her last rose in her debut? Or is it when they realized they were in love?
Maybe, we don't need to count. What's more important is the years that they will spend in the future.
"Aren't we going home? Baka naghihintay na si Ivory," Cera said.
"Mas gusto nga ata non na wala tayo sa bahay eh," Mikael chuckled.
"Bwiset ka talaga."
"Dito muna tayo, hmm? Ngayon na lang ulit tayo nakapunta dito sa Diliman." Cera nodded and they continued walking.
"This university is really beautiful," sabi ni Cera. "Probably one of the reasons why I chose to study here."
"It's peaceful here. Parang malayo ka sa gulo," sabi naman ni Mikael.
"It feels safe here," Cera said and Mikael doesn't miss, "No wonder why I felt safe the moment I saw you."
"Sinungaling," Cera accused, laughing.
"Totoo kaya yon," natatawang sabi ni Mikael.
"Feel safe eh takot ka nga sumakay sa moto noong papunta tayo dito," Cera laughed as she remembers that day.
"That's a different story. Ang bilis mo magmaneho, I swear. Pakiramdam ko dadalhin mo na ako sa impyerno."
Cera couldn't stop herself from laughing loudly. "You were so funny that day! Kung nakita mo lang yung itsura mo sa side mirror."
"Tama na. Oo na," Mikael laughed. "Buti na lang hindi na naulit."
"Hay," Cera chuckled. "Good old memories."
Mikael smiled. Inakbayan niya si Cera at inilagay naman ni Cera ang kaniyang kamay sa likod ng bewang ng asawa habang patuloy sila sa paglalakad.
Mikael kissed the top of her head. "And more memories to treasure together with our Sophia Ivory."
They stopped walking and they faced each other.
"I love you," Cera said.
"I love you more," Mikael said. He held her hand and twirled her. They both chuckled. "I love you."
"Let's go home, miel. Let's spend the rest of the at home," Cera said and she kissed his cheek.
"Okay. Let's go home, miel."
