I read Reece's message on our group chat. Sinara ko ang cellphone ko at nilapag ito sa bedside table.
Ayoko pa bumaba. Dito na lang muna ako sa kwarto namin. Maybe, I just need some sleep. Para pagkagising ko, iinom na lang ako.
I closed my eyes and let myself dozed off. When I wake up, I smelled Cera's scent near me.
Bumangon ako at umupo. Nakita ko siyang naka upo rin sa kama habang nagccellphone. She looked at me. "Gising ka na pala. Tara, bumaba na tayo."
"Mauna ka na. Mamaya na lang ako," I said. To be honest, I'm fine now. I just want her to approach me like this. Like what she did earlier.
Ito ba yung sinasabing nagpapalambing?
"Pabalik na sina Mark. Bumili na sila ng mga lulutuin at iinumin. Let's go."
I didn't answer. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at binasa ang mga mensahe mula kay Ate at kay Mom na pareho akong kinakamusta.
I heard her sighed. "Miel..." she called.
Tangina.
"I'm sorry," she said. I looked at her. Binaba ko ang cellphone ko at lumapit ako sa kaniya.
"What's that, miel?" I asked, teasing.
"I'm sorry, miel," she repeated. "I'm sorry for being harsh and sensitive earlier. I'm sorry kasi hindi ako nakapagsorry agad kanina noong magkasama tayo nung lunch. I'm sorry..."
