I ate lunch with Ven. Napasarap kami ng pagkain kaya alas dos na ng hapon nang makarating kami sa site.
"Good afternoon, Architect Villena and Engineer Reyla," bati sa amin ng mga kasama ni Ven sa trabaho. Pag may project ay sila ang team na lagi niyang katuwang.
"Good afternoon," sabi ko sa kaniya.
Inabutan kami ng hard hat para suotin bago mag-ikot sa lugar.
Ven started to tour me around as he discusses the development of the building. Kaliwa't kanan naman ang bati sa amin ng mga manggagawa.
"I'll probably visit here again in two weeks," sabi ko kay Ven at tumango naman siya.
"Good afternoon, Architect Villena. Nasa temporary office po si Sir Mikael. Pinapatawag niya po kayo," sabi sa akin ng isang babae na sa tingin ko ay sekretarya ni Mikael.
I looked at Ven and he said, "Baba ka agad. Ihahatid pa kita pabalik sa firm. May meeting ka pa ng 4pm."
"Okay," I said before removing the hard hat.
There is a temporary office near the site. This is where Ven and his team is taking rest from time to time. Dito rin nilalagay ang mga pagkain na kakainin ng mga manggagawa.
After a few walks, I reached the office. Binuksan ko ang pinto at pumasok sa loob.
"Good afternoon, Sir," I greeted. Mikael smiled and nodded.
"Good afternoon, Architect Villena. This won't be long. May ibibigay lang ako sa'yo," sabi niya.
What could that be? Why am I suddenly nervous?
