Sarado pa ang Sky Ranch kaya dito muna kami pumunta sa Twin Lakes. I ordered food for us here inside the hub para naman may makain kami kahit snacks lang.
As I waited for my turn to pay for our food, I looked at Mikael who's waiting for me in one of the seats. May dumating na isa pang customer na may dalang aso at pinatong ito sa isang bakanteng upuan sa harap ni Mikael.
I watched him look at the dog. He smiled and started patting the dog's head. I smiled at the sight. Palihim kong kinuha ang cellphone sa bulsa ko at kinuhaan siya ng litrato.
"Miss?"
"Oh, here," I said, putting the foods on the counter. Pagkatapos kong bayaran ang pagkain ay pumunta na ako sa lamesa namin at nilapag ito doon. He tapped the chair beside him, telling me to sit there which I immediately complied.
"Sa tingin ko hindi tayo pwede magtagal dito," he whispered.
"Why?" I asked, getting the bottle of water.
"Baka nasa balita na tayo mamaya," he answered. I chuckled.
"You're afraid of that? Palagi ka namang laman ng balita."
"No, I'm not," he said. "Minsan lang."
We laughed.
"Ewan ko sa'yo!"
"But seriously, Zel. You're a model. Mas sikat ka sa'kin. Baka mamaya isipin nila non-showbiz boyfriend mo ako."
"You're not even a non-showbiz man. Laman ka nga ng balita minsan, 'di ba?" I said without even thinking twice. Now, he's looking at me with a smirk on his face.
