Pagpasok ko sa opisina ko ay saktong tumunog ang cellphone ko. I saw Shanaira's name on the screen.
"Good morning," she greeted as soon as I answered the call. "May photoshoot ko sa Sabado ha."
I totally forgot about that.
"Uh, paki move na lang ng schedule," sabi ko sa kaniya.
"Ha? Bakit naman?"
"I have a date..." halos pabulong na sagot ko.
"Oh," she said and I can hear the tease on her voice. Sigurado akong nakangisi ito.
"Stop," I said.
She chuckled. "Okay, enjoy your date. Wear your best smile!"
"I will. Thank you, Aira."
"I love you! Follow your heart." And the call ended. I chuckled as I sit down on my chair. Kumuha ako ng ballpen at nagsimulang pirmahan ang mga papeles na nasa lamesa ko.
Someone knocked and I heard Ven's voice from the outside.
"Come in," I said while looking at the construction documents my employee made.
